I painted a picture with hardware store materials

In the hardware store I always discover great tools, but also many
Materials that are perfect for my large abstract paintings.
In this video I show the handling of primary rock flour, which is usually
used for in the garden to enrich the soil with minerals.
It is ideally suited for canvas paintings - similar to marble powder - because it
forms particularly strong cracks. When it is applied thickly, it creates
real clods, reminiscent of a dried riverbed. As a base
a layer of sand (0.2 to 0.8 grain size) and binder is brushed onto the
canvas to obtain a good cross-linking. This layer
must be thoroughly dry before the filler is applied.
