Actually no, I am new in hammer and for usual test chambers this is easy, only problem is a textures that's very annoying.
How do you make cubes go through the tubes? Also, I can’t select the entities category.
How do you rotate props without using the pitch/yaw/roll numbers in the selection, like at 20:15?
if you click on the selection it changes between 3 modes of moving.

I was planning to do that actually! I am just delayed because of technical issues. I plan to do a clean test tutorial, then continue that test in another tutorial that covers overgrown maps.
Why is it that the more complex the thing your tutorialing, the shorter the video is?
Please Help! When I spawn in, only some of the walkways appear, therefore I immediately fall to my death!
And also the 2 ones which actually appear are exactly the same as the others!
@@bean1249 check in the model viewer if you selected the ones with collisions or not. There are ones with collisions which are for direct interactions for the character (where you don't fall through) and some which don't have collisions and are visually cheaper. Last ones are meant for places the player can't reach and just can see from distance.

You need to use the Texture Application Mode (the blue,green and red cube)

Most test elements in the vents are animated props, but since these are only good for very specific arrangement of the tubes, it is recommended to make prop_physic be transported through the tube with the help of trigger_push brushes that will be placed in the tubes, like done in the Pneumatic Diversity Vent test element.
Alten, I wouldn’t recommend doing that, since the banging of cubes against the pipes can be loud, and it runs the risk of them getting stuck, causing the pipe to clog up and ultimately crash the game.

Ben 22403 use the clipping tool. it looks like a block of bricks with a corner cut off. It's on the left menu 3rd from bottom.
How can you see just models from far away? I can see Model color cubes from far away and just models closer. Are there controls or settings to fix that?
Tools -> Options -> 3D view -> Adjust the model render distance and detail render distance
