My husband just retired Yay and we are looking forward to just exploring every day. I think Arkansas will be on our list of places to visit.

Hi Cody, your drone problem is for sure a battery problem. If a Lithium battery dies, it starts swelling up. If the battery housing gets cracked open and comes apart, the battery is sure done. If the battery is old, the voltage drops real fast when used. The drone notices that and no matter what, it is going to land wherever it is. It's considered better than just dropping out of mid air. That's what you have experienced.
Not sure if you can recover the drone after submersing it in water. Take it apart as far as you can without breaking anything and dig it into a few pounds of rice. Yes, Rice. The rice will absorb all the moisture that's around. Leave it completely covered in rice for a couple days. I would then use that old battery to start up the drone. If it lifts off, the drone is ok. Land immediately and get yourself a new battery. No sense in buying a new battery for a damaged drone.
Good luck!
You should dispose of the expanded lithium battery as soon as possible. When they are compromised like that, the lithium can spontaneously catch fire or explode.

I love your channel and wanted to see Arkansas. I just had the opportunity to visit for about a half day. I was picking up my new puppy from Nancy’s Westies in Russellville, AK. From what I saw I know I want to go back and tour the whole state. Thanks for both of you for being such great ambassadors for the state. Maybe we will cross paths while on our adventures. I live in AZ and that is where my home base is. I recently bought an adventure vehicle. It’s a Suburban and I bought from Suboverland inTwin Falls, ID. It’s all outfitted with everything. Beauty of a stream. If the fish don’t bite on that craw, use something smaller. Try a Pat’s Rubber Legs (fly) with a casting bubble and drift it. I catch a lot of Smallmouth on Pat’s in Northwest Arkansas.

We LOVE our BNM home and acreage but also love our little 23’TT and hitting state parks and sometimes private campgrounds. It’s just a different vibe and relaxing feel!

That battery was swollen which means it is toast. As you probably already figured out, never use a battery that is swollen like that. That was the reason for the cracks.

That bulging battery sounds like bad news. I'd get a new one ASAP as sometimes they can catch fire. I would bet if you were to open that up you'd see the battery pack is swelled.

i had a new battery installed in my samsung cell phone as it was swelling and the tech was a bit afraid of it because if he was to poke a hole in it, he said it could blow up in his face.

In all your links I don't see a link for your kitchen faucet, is that an RV faucet and how difficult was it to put in. I have an hs-8801 and it looks kind of tight under there for putting in a faucet
It’s a home faucet from Home Depot not hard to install
