Why is a 4 door a bad thing?? I have 2 of these both are 1956 one is this identical car in the video same color and everything, and my other one is black and white in a 4 door, and without the pillars with all the windows down the 4 door looks better in my opinion, also it's much easier to get in and out of, and if you need to put something in the back seat your not contorting and twisting to .make it fit.. also the 4 door is for sale !! With only 8,455 original miles.. and is absolutely pristine!! The bumpers were blacked out before I got it, I may have them re-chromed but it looks awesome the way it is.. also has the original "flawless" spinner wheel covers and a $8,500 Italian hand stitched interior, and I have boxes and boxes of spare parts, emblems, chrome , ect.. also has been converted to "electric" windshield wipers from the Vacuum type from that year, runs and drives like the day it left the showroom and never has seen a single drop of rain or snow. Also are the 2 doors worth more$$ I have received these cars from my father just a few months ago as he is 83 years old and I'm just digging into what they are and everything about them..
@@stevenreising252 They are NOT sporty. They are like today's mini-vans, made for hauling around the kids and groceries. They make great parts-crs for restoring 2-doors.
Thanks for keeping it stock original.Yes those exhaust ports are correct original.
I had the exact same car in 1969 when I was in the Navy in San Diego. It was on a dealers back row for $300. It ran like new, drove it up to Yosemite.
My late parents had that very same Car.... but, it was blue and white!❤️
I had one that was red and white. Had to sell it when I lost my job when the kids were little. Still miss it.
dig it
Too bad it's a 4-door.
Keep your coupes I'll take a four door sedan any day. Equally attractive & far more practical. 1955/56/57 Oldsmobiles are just gorgeous.
