Man, I went down a UA-cam rabbit-hole that started with looking for tutorials on false-chord vocals, clicked on a couple random videos that ran me past Dir En Grey (dude, early 2000's nostalgia), and I wound up here. WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN THIS BAND BEFORE!?!?! THIS IS AWESOME!!!
They formed in 2007 and went inactive in 2012 because Kamijo (vocals) went off to do solo project and they got another singer and renamed themselves Jupiter, then in 2015 Kamijo returned and they were back to being Versailles again, Jupiter is still active too though, except they’ve changed a few members here and there, unlike Versailles where they have only had two member changes, Jasmine You (bass) unfortunately passed away in 2009 and replaced him with Masashi and Yuki (drums) departed (not sure of the reason, couldn’t find out why and he didn’t get replaced yet I don’t think)

True that! I went to the 10th anniversary concert in Mexico city and when Ascended Master started we all went crazy. The girl next to me saw how excited i was, hugged me and jumped and sang with me. I didn't know her but it's incredible how Versailles can join people

When I read Ann Rice's famous books The Vampire Lestat and theInterview with the Vampire I couldn't help but imagine Kamijo as Lestat. He is Lestat, period. And it's kind of disturbing that after 10+ years I still remember the lyrics (making the same mistakes as back then 😆)
I remember this way back in 2010 when I first saw this I was fascinated with this Band and their style, and I got a crush on Hizaki because I thought He was a Woman but when I found he was a Man just crossed dressing then I was totally embarassed. But up to now this song is their No.1 Masterpiece. This is my Favorite song of them and of course Zombi.
