Nice Build Butler Guys. I've been Huge Pontiac Engine Fan Since I bought 76 Trans-Am 455 4sp m/t in 1985 did a Frame off Restoration 86-87 following year Rebuilt Engine and Installed Ported Ram Air III Heads and all Internal Performances Goodies still have TA I'm a Master Mechanic 45+ years Exp been Eye balling your guy's Work last 20 years build Good Solid Pontiac Engines. My Bucket list is to Have a All Aluminum Pontiac Engine 500 CI 700+ HP and Torque naturally Aspirated with Carburetor or F.I. Throttle Body with external Fuel Rail. 2 Fuel Injectors per Cylinder for Starters. When I see Shops or Owners install GM LS Series Engines in Gen 1&2 Firebirds Formulas Trans-Ams makes me cringe I'm like you coulda had Butler Pontiac V8 Engine instead and keep the whole car Pontiac. I know LS Engines are good but not in old Pontiacs. Back in 1987 I Assisted a Friend Building his Engine 1969 Chevy ZL1 427CI Big Block All Aluminium Engine had 12:1 Compression Big FN Cam Roller Lifters Rockers made 600hp had excellent Power Band 2500-7000 RPM one of Nice's Muscle Car Engines I helped built Not Every Chevy Gear head can say Built 1969 ZL1427 very rare engine yes had Snowflake insignia I.D on Block and Heads. Bare Block so light you can Install on Engine Stand yourself Lol Bare Heads Weighed like 12 pack bottle Beer Anyway thought share a Detroit all Aluminum V8 story and some day Going to own All Aluminum Pontiac V8 for my Trans-Am
Wonder if Butler Pontiac can build a NHRA Top Fuel dragster Pontiac 400 motor. Runs on nitro methane, and nitrous injected, supercharged and the hp is equivalent to the Top fuel dragster hemis out there, 15,000 or 19,000hp .

Similar to the setup I have, just I’m running a cast block and Holley EFI and water meth injection. I hope to be pushing number this close lol.
I wish molnar did a crank for the 455 3.25" main
Nice !
🔥🐐🔥
Thinking about replacing my old 400 in my 69 gto. How much did this setup go for?
Shoot us an email to tech@butlerperformance.com and we can go over some ballpark#'s. this particular customer provided some of his own parts.
PONTIAC EXCITEMENT #1
So is that on 93 octane? if so I'm impressed. Who wants to pay for race gas?

Is possible with F2 and intercooler?? My engine is ready for ....
Is that big chiefs new power plant????
Not quite enough power for Chief!
How much boost did you make?
