@ if you were a former QB and then become a QB coach you get pretty close to the play calling. But a lotta guys have play calling and/or HC experience in college and high school. I don’t think an O Line coach is the same.
its so obviously Hank Fraley, us Seahawks fans have been foaming at the mouth to give Geno an extended pocket presence and K9 (also now Charbonnet) some good goddamn blocking to get down field and punch the redzone in its gut
Kubiak started off hot then it went down hill extremely fast. From what I remember and what saints fans have said, he's terrible at half time adjustments.
Coaching is important. But the players you have are the most important part. With that being said players can make a coach look brilliant. And vice versa
The 28 yr old from Minnesota OC Assistant Grant Udinski he is a young bright mind to go with the youngest head coach Mike Macdonald . Best bet I think. GO HAWKS!!
Just a thought here but maybe Mike needs to just find an OC with a ton of experience instead of necessarily chasing the brightest most innovative mind. An inverse of the Rams like was mentioned when McVay brought Wade Phillips in. Maybe we should call Schotty if Doug P isn't looking to be an OC again 🤔
There is no way the Seahawk's offense can not zone block, they can't even block a defensive lineman right in front of them, if you want a reminder how bad the whiff on block when they have to trap block or when they are required to move just look at the clips of them running a screenplay and count how many blocks the offensive lineman block I guarantee it is Zero!
Big time NO to Brown. And Haley has ZERO play calling experience. These guys are SO out of touch. Kubiak has NFL play calling in his bloodline, and the Saints offense was ELECTRIC before all their injuries. Kubiak should be the ONLY choice from this list.
Why Hank? Don't the FOUR O-linemen drafted in the FIRST round and one in the third by the lions get the credit? I think he is over hyped. Especially if we don't use our picks for QUALITY interior line help. Bradford at center is definitely NOT a answer. I think y'all need to temper expectations.
Believe it or not, that's still a step up from Grubb😭 He was stubbornly his way. Mike being new at everything needed offensive support, and Grubb was not it! I really hope we do get someone decently effective, though, because we can't just burn through OCs like this.
Dude did nothing except run his offense wide open. 80 percent under center ran the ball…80 percent shotgun passed the ball. You can’t be predictable in the NFL. It does not work….especially when your offense line is struggling. I know NFL fans aren’t very smart and don’t understand their own game….but this was plain as day. His play calling worked in college because his talent beat out. You can’t beat out talent in the NFL…you have to fool the defense on what’s coming.
Hope yall understand how badly you are destroying your show with these piss poor, outdated, wanna be “hot takes”. How about go learn some actual ball and stop trying to find the warmest lap to lay in? You dudes are corny
Agreed with Brock, watching Walter Jones and Hutch just dominate and pancake dudes... I would love to see a hard hitting o-line again
Hank Fraley is our best bet
If a guy w no experience calling plays is your best option… 🧐
@@itshadoukenthat’s most Oc !
@@kevingates-e6s are you saying most offensive coordinators never called plays?
@ yes because head coach’s thst calls plays there Oc get Oc jobs n never called played..if your a Oc n play caller you move up to head coach

I hope they are going to interview more experienced OC’s then these 3 guys , Next
@@bossmacnino1826 agreed
We are interviewing the colts former hc. But I truly want someone with play-action.
Great points at the end, Brock! Y’all believe that Mike McCarthy will be an option?… 😯

So was Waldron for us when we had him

Do you think Hank can work with what we have ? Pass game Co is a must
I say choose Hank Fraley just so we have a BIG HOSS calling plays

I’d take Kubiak!

Yes he is. Hire him

We need to get Holmgren off the couch!! 😂
Yes HF KK GU are very fine
None of those candidates are better then what they had.
Fraley has never called plays which means he hasn't really been an OC yet. Only in name.
That's literally how most become Offensive coordinators in the NFL lol look at the Callahan family .....
He hasn't even been an OC in name yet! Just OL coach
Not even in name, he's always been OL coach. Never called plays before at any level

Shouldn't have fired Grubb. You will not find a worthy replacement. This will haunt the Seahawks for a decade.
lol
