@@bulletprooftiger1879 the chorus isn't the most important or interesting part of the song, it's just there to catch the listener's attention. It only connects the verses which are, imo, brilliantly written. I especially like how each verse sounds different from one another. But yeah, the chorus isn't their best, this doesn't make the song bad in any way
@@sugoha_2548 song structure. The chorus ruins the song for me when they are meant to be catchy. I like the verses and bridge but the choruses make me feel like I'm listening to Appeal to Reason and the lows of Black Market (I don't wanna be here anymore)
@@bulletprooftiger1879 that's personal opinion, I didn't really like appeal to reason either (except hero of war ). Too bad it ruins the song for you but you don't necessarily have to ruin it for others. Besides, I don't think there's anything bad about catchy choruses as long as there's a message behind, as they say, you catch more flies with honey.

Was waiting 10 years for a great album and finally received it. With 2 last albums I went back to old ones after like day or two. This one is different. It's already a week and I can't stop listening! Thank you boys! Cannot wait for you to come to Poland again when pandemic is over! It's been already 6 years + 3 days from your last visit.
Rules of play has that savior chorus catchy ness to it... but I feel like it’s missing a melody like savior had. Nevertheless this album has no boring songs on it, best work since appeal to reason for sure.
After here "The numbers" and "Nowhere Generation", I was almost hoping for something reminiscent of Siren Song but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Though the album has a few solid tracks, it still feels worlds away from the RA I grew up with.
I think this album needs several listenings till you like it. It has nö real catchy songs but that doesn't mean it's not good. But I would agree if someone says these songs are not good for first time listenings.
@@christophcookit6334 I've listened to it about 20 times, mate. I like some of the songs but most of them to seem like filler songs. Their last two albums did this as well. I haven't liked a RA album the entire way through since Endgame. Even then, my favorites are still RPM, Siren Song and Sufferer.
@@WhereOceansMeeet I know what you mean. I didn't listen to them so many times yet, that's why I can't judge yet if they get better. But these new songs just don't feel so good as the older ones
really love the new album, very good comeback
A brilliant album lads, havent missed a beat, and strong messages throughout

Why is "middle of a dream" so catchy I can't stop listening to it!
The Numbers has quickly become my favourite Rise Against song.
Definitely in my top 10
The chorus sounds like every chorus they've done this past decade. I find it really boring and rise against going stale

They will embark on a world tour in 2021?
Gd how are they still so good?

I mean, they also grew up. I would expect their songs and style to change too

So happy to see a collaboration with INDECLINE. My favourite art group with my favorite band? Can't complain
