They are actually making tremendous pop sounding music. If it's not heavy it doesn't mean it's bad. One band that's opposite of this is Asking Alexandria, they're sort of sellouts and their pop rock sounding music is actually generic and boring.
The part when Oli spoke about music as the best thing for expressing emotions surprisingly made me cry. Missing the shows, missing my favorite bands, fortunately got to see BMTH live just a month before lockdown. Thank you, guys, impatiently waiting for “Parasite Eve”, it kicks ass

Not because it’s not “heavy” but because it just wasn’t my style. Ludens came out and it was a breath of fresh air. I can’t wait for this album!

PRECISELY what y’all realised is what I wanted human kind to realise from all of this: we aren’t locked in -we’re fluid. We changed the world for the worse in 11 days straining everything around us. In the next 11 days we changed the world for the better: artists forming collectives with hashtags to sell their work to each other and outsiders and keep making money to live and eat and relax. Cultural influencers like actors paying for grocery stores to have any senior citizens bill during senior hour to be completely paid for. Grocery stores themselves imposing order in very easy ways to keep the people and the resources safe. Entire animal shelters left VACANT as people took in cats, dogs, and more to form a relationship with. People reaching to the one they had been pining for by means of Google Hangouts and a Zorb bubble to start dating. People with waring political ideologies coming together at the end of their sidewalks for dance parties, then again at 6AM to cheer for waste management/trash men & women who until now have had thankless jobs. That list goes on an ON. We were at each other’s throats, and felt we had no power. Mike Shinoda (a friend of yours) talked about that: where most of our acting out comes from (when human beings do bad things to each other, or even themselves) it’s usually due to an element of feeling out of control/powerless. Long ago, it was known we entered the Æon of Pisces, and that age would continue until the end of the Æon. That former Æon or age of Pisces was projected to end somewhere between the year the 2010 AD - 2100 AD. From there we would enter the Æon of Aquarius. We know now we are fluid, we know know that Death Stranding and Ludens is true, we know now we have the power to be on the same page and change the world for the better in 11 days. Lo and behold things only got nasty at first because bad people swarmed, yet (just like in traffic) you DO have more good people in the world than you have bad people. For every 12 people forming a unified line without exchanging a word, merely taking action you have one jerk who goes blowing up beside everyone trying to cut in line. We are fluid. We are Ludens. We HAVE POWER. You guys putting THAT specific part of that message out there is CRITICALLY important, and so I thank you for that.

I’ll never understand how people dislike Bring Me The Horizon, I have loved them and their songs from the moment I found them, bless the day I stumbled upon Throne because from there on I found a way to motivate me to do what I need and it is through their songs.
