Hi Andrew & Karen, Agree the service bollard is quite a distance from your pitch, at least all pitches are serviced and 12pm check in which is good. A welsh girl once told Gail Betws-y-Coed is pronounced Bet-oosa-Coyd. All the best, Rob & Gail 😀
Yes most service points are to the rear of pitches seemed strange to have it on the front- due to the heavy rain & just overnight stop we did not get chance to explore the site, thanks for watching 👍

Me and the Wife were there also over the New Year, we stayed on one of the Hot Tub Pitches they were good. I totally agree the site is looking tired now and in need of some TLC, so on that we probably won’t be going back until that is done.

Hi Danny, yes it says 5* on the web site it certainly isn't, unfortunately first impressions count, yes it was wet & miserable so that didn't help, at least we did get a bit of sunshine while packing up but soon turned wet again when we set off, thanks for watching and Happy New Year 👍
Andrew is your electric lead safe like you left it always told to roll it completely out and straight? Looks a lovely site we only live 30 miles away
It's OK it's loosely wrapped & lots of air around it, it's more if the cable is wound tightly on a cable reel the ground was a so boggy due to all the rain, can't comment on the rest of the site as didn't get out to explore due to the rain, thanks for watching 👍
Hi Andrew and Karen, I've recently bought my first caravan which I pick up in March. I was wondering what towing mirrors you use for your car? As I have the same car as you, and are they any good.
I use Milenco Grand Aero 3 towing mirrors, they give a great rear view & not had any problems with them coming loose or vibrating while towing, bet your looking forward to making memories in your new caravan, thanks for watching
Thanks for the reply. I've just bought the same tow mirrors as you. I've invested in a new coachman 2 birth. Never towed before, so this could be interesting. Thanks again for your help, look forward to your next blog.
After a couple of tows you will get used to it, happy caravanning 👍
