All 4 band members are master class musicians. Brian May reportedly has an IQ of 180. He has a Phd in astrophysics. He has been knighted by the English royals. He has worked with the space programs. He and his father built his guitar, dubbed the red special, from scrap material around the house and has very unique qualities. Roger Taylor studied dentristry and then switched to biology. John Deacon is an electronics wizzard and built the "Deacy amp" which people are still trying to duplicate. Freddie Mercury has a 4 octave (!!) vocal range and can sing ANYTHING. The band does not have a "genre" per se. They are their own genre. Their catalog is massive. They are loved by millions and millions of the most loyal adoring fans of any band you could think of. Their music is fantastic and their skill and talent is legendary. Each of them are musical geniuses in their own right. All have written hit songs. Their music had no advantage of auto tune, computers. What you hear is the real thing. They are spectacular on stage. Do a little research on all of them. You will discover that they are totally unique. You will grin ear to ear...or cry... or sing with them at the top of your lungs(if you are able). Undoubtedbly, you know Queen's music. You just don't know it yet as being the child of Queen. Let yourself slide into the Queen rabbit hole. It's a long wonderful journey. And just a little hint for the future...never, ever interrupt Brian May's guitar solos. They are too awesome to pause or speak over them. This is a kind of a Queen fan "rule" And if you react to Queen, we will come to your channel in droves to listen. Start with Somebody to Love...live in Montreal in 1981. It will blow your socks off. And do Live Aid 1985. It was a global phenomenon, produced worldwide to help raise money for the starvation crisis in Ethiopia. Queen was not even on the list to do a set. They were added on to the billing very late in the game. There were 70 big name bands scheduled to play a 20 minute set. This was not a Queen fan crowd, that is, until the audience watched and listened. And they converted to fans immediately. Freddie was an absolute master of crowd control. All he had to do was raise a finger and the entire crowd knew exactly what to do. He was a monster on stage but in his very highly guarded private life he was shy but known by all to be kind, generous, had a keen sense of humor and was very funny. But research will show you how masterful they all were at their craft. So many interesting facts for you to learn. It will take you a long time to get through their catalogue of over 250 songs, all of them worth a listen..some you won't care for but most of them will draw you in. You can't help it or stop it. It just happens naturally. Sit back. Definitely use good headphones. There will be delightful little surprises and nuances you may not notice if you don't use headphones. I'll be very interested to hear what you think after experiencing some of their work. But, most of all, enjoy. Just enjoy. You will soon be a stauch fan unless you live under a rock.😊😊😊
You should watch this whole concert... the stage was HUGE and he ran, singing from one end to the other, up several levels, down the levels, in the heat...never missing a note!
While Freddie drank, during concerts he only drank a mixture of tea, noney, and lemon in order to soothe his throat. Beers on the piano were for other band members.
The singer is Freddie Mercury, Brian May is on the guitar, John Deacon is on the bass and Roger Taylor is on the drums. Best band ever!! 🙂 This concert sold out quickly and had about 72,000 people so they added a second night. Total for this night and second night was about 150,000 people.
Roger Taylor (drums) wrote this song for the Queen Soundtrack for the movie Highlander. Great song and Freddie Mercury nails the vocals. Powerful guitar and bass licks.

Queen 👑 walked away victorious! They stole the show! Freddie had the audience in one hand and the microphone in the other hand! When you watch the set, you will know who Queen is.
The mike stand he broke very early in his career and just kept it like that ever since, it's his signature. Check out 'Now I'm Here' from this same concert Live at Wembley 1986, you'll like it :-)
Have you seen Queens 20 minute WHOLE set at Live Sid in 1985? Youll see the crowd in that one, same stadium, but it was light out. Same amount if people. Its a thing to behold. If you havent seen it, you need to react to the whole thing. Freddie Mercury is well known as the best frontman and vovalist ever. Brian May is a super master at guitar and has a great, warm voice, in his own words (warm). Roger Taylor….great, great drummer and falsetto vocalist. John Deacon, great bassist and electrical engineer, eloing make those great Queen sounds happen.

The mic stand was Freddies signature had been doing it since the early 70s. His mic got stuck he broke it accidentally and he never looked back.
While Freddie drank, during concerts he only drank a mixture of tea, noney, and lemon in order to soothe his throat. Beers on the piano were for other band members.
He ain't walking with the mic stand unaware, he meant to carry it like that, it's his signature

The abbreviated mic stand was Freddie's own thing.
Freddie never drank ah on stage. Bad for the voice.
