After being laid up for the summer due to illness, I came outside and found both of my vehicles trashed with dried on pollen and bug excrement from infested sycamore trees. Nice to see they're addressing us with super hard water. In my beginning days I found out the hard way when my wife gifted me a CR system and I got to use it about 4 times until the resin was spent! So after learning I that I needed to drop my TDS down first, I designed and built basically this setup for my solution. Aquarium RO system, tank and pump feeding into my detail station. Can be DIY'd pretty cost effectively.

Awesome feature with Chuck from CR Spotless. The new pro system looks awesome. I’ve seen other channels build similar set ups for retail and it was 3x more expensive to purchase. Worry free water for pennies on the gallon. Clutch! No worse feeling trying to beat the sun from drying out the water on a vehicle.

I can’t imagine having water bad enough to need a unit like this. I’m spoiled at 25-40 ppm after carbon filters, depending on the time of year. Still very cool for those that need it. I’m 1.5 years in on my 20inch cr resin tanks and they are still going strong.
I wanted to buy a DI water system during Black Friday sales but couldn't decide what brand, so I thought I wait and do some research. CR Spotless would be a good fit for me. I like how they have different options; they are made in the USA and have a recycle resin program. A solid company. Liked and shared on Twitter.

Combining RO with DI is a great idea especially for those with hard water. I’m currently paying about $.70/gallon for DI water as my water is pretty bad (500 ppm).
Great Video. I’ve owned a Simple Chuck for 8 or so years. The price of the Resin Swap is getting to the point I have started to look for other solutions. I get about 10 rinses on my 45’ MotorHome here in Florida where our water is 150-170 PPM out of the faucet. Interested concept to run RO water prior to DI. Once again Josh you knocked this one out of the park.

I’m 60 and I can identify with the need for DI water. I’d love a system to deal with my hard water. I used to work for Filmtec in Edina, MN which is fully owned by Dow Chemical. They made the membrane for RO systems. I’m another veteran from. Minnesota.
