What kind of an ad is that? I listen to this music and an ad pops up saying "Are you single?" Let's see, I'm listening to the soundtrack of a Playstation game on UA-cam. Figure it out.
How amusingly appropriate then that, like "Cornman," it was used in a level where you had to handle explosives. Although "Bang for Buck" was *way* more tolerable than "Boom Town."
Man, this song is so damn cool. It's so unique, fun, full of life and emotive. The way it constantly switches beats, the way it focuses on other melodies, the way it throws so much variety in the mix -- It's such a great song. It makes me wish I had two other mouths and an extra pair of hands just so I can keep up with tapping and humming/singing all the different parts at once. I'm really sad this version isn't on Spotify. There are some versions that come close but this one is just so different. The sound design and music choice of all the LBP games have been really incredible, but this one in particular stands out to me, especially given the atmosphere of the level. It's all so chaotic, a little dissonant, treacherous, even a little retro at times, which matches it all so perfectly. I know I tend to obsess over every little detail of music I like. Down to the easy-to-miss tambourine build-up before the claps. But with this song I can't help it. What a fucking great piece of art. I'll probably listen to this song periodically for the rest of my life.
Acing this level took much patience, food, water, and hours perfecting jumps, dodging stupid turrets, etc. I was very happy when I finally aced this level.
@BlueFrost01 I thought of a bunch of very large Mexicans in ponchos and sombreros eating bean burritos and then riding away on little donkeys because the cowboys were chasing them.
The fact that LPB2 and Borat share an OST is so indescribably awesome

The soundtrack selection for the Factory was just perfect.
the area has such a specific vibe to it. the music directors had some vision man
This is LBP2's answer for LBP1's use of Cornman by Kinky

I used to dance like crazy with my sackboy along with my bro whenever we hear this song lol
Whether it's this or the original, they both make me think of LBP2 speed runs :)

they have no idea man...I used to literally run home from school to ace all of lbp's levels
At least you had a FIRE song as background
Sameeeee
My brother spent hours trying to ace this one level
When an add in 2022 plays this song and it just reminds me of lbp 2
What was the ad?
Epic song ever.
Originally from an EP on Atlantic Jaxx records called 'Gypsy Beats & Balkan Bangers'. If anybodys interested ! Lol !
Nothing can go wrong with this song :D
When I tried to get the bubble on the toilet paper
Sounds a little like asphalt tango by fanfare ciocarlia. love it!! such a fun track x
The Rosen Venture!
The comment I was looking for.
Oh look, the Basement Jaxx remixed a gypsy song.
Again.
And it sounds awesome.
Again.
Ah, the Basement Jaxx. The only guys who, as far as I know, make gypsy techno.
Borat
borat high FIVE
Great track.
Boom Town flashbacks
This was in LBP2 the level with the grabinators/bomb launcher. Bang for your buck I believe is what it was called
I swear to God when I first say that, I thought it said "Shamalamadingdong"...
Lol
Is it just me, or do the clacking noises sound like they were made by either gears, or a gun?
Pavel Derevyanko must be breakdancing to this
When that thack played, it's reminded me a M'n'F games with that soundtrack,
Am I only one?
LBP2 TOMAROW
the first thought in my head is a group of cowboy dancing together
Actually only Felix Buxton from Basement Jaxx remixed this. and if you want to hear more gypsy vibes like this.. try Shantel :) p.s. Epic remix this.
I think of robot cowboys when I hear this.
@MrNickWright 'Bang For Buck' was practically 'Boom Town 2' anyways.
