@raptzilla I you read the post properly the poster was asking if the 350 & 450 are the same size and I pointed out the difference. He wasn't asking if carb injection was better than EFI.
Thought about the power bomb. Though many ppl think the stock one is good enough and that aftermarket headers don't give a noticable power increase for the money. I'll be jetting the carb and drilling holes in the air lid before I even think about a header.
Haven't re-jetted it yet. The bike runs fine with just the Gytr pipe. Though I will be putting a high-flow filter on, drilling some holes in the air-box lid & re-jetting it.

If you are a quader or duner A Raptor 7oor is a must ave you can preety much stay in the same gear because the power ratio is FREAKING amazing. On the other hand i have a 2008 Raptor 350 (wannna be raptor) And i have to change gears every 5 seconds and im in my highest gear and the Raptor is going 20mph faster than me in only 3rd gear.
Hello friend, one question, can you please explain to me what the different buttons you touched are for, because the first one you touched I think is used to turn on some quads and the second one I no longer know what it is called, could you explain to me what this and the others are for?
could i get a 350 for a first time quad, and what lcense do i need, new to quads nd i want 1 fer gettin about, cars too pricey :D also if its not a cheap to insure quad, what would be ?

Love the bike and love the plastics on raptors
The bike came with it when it was new. But I would say it's worth the money. Has really good mid-range torque and sounds awesome.

@slimshadyskater cheers, but that's not a BMW, it's actually a Toyota Chaser (Jap Import). 6 cyl Turbo engine
@AxotikRetiles Yeah all sport quads are good you just need to get use to the clutch
@reseau05 Yamaha's model name is YFM350R (raptor 350) There's also a YFM350 which is the grizzly farm version.
@xIJAx It uses a Thumb throttle so mechanism is a different design to a standard twist type.

@ChocolatePain03 Yep, just take it easy and get a feel for the bike for a while then you can go harder as you get more confident.

@Rydawg98 Yes, it's the black lever on the side of the bike. It's a bit of a pain to use though.

@julioigna71 Yes, it is a good sized quad to begin on.
Here in Australia they were about $600. I think you can pick up a new one from ebay.com for around $400 delivered.

@zachrome16 If you want to race i'd recommend a YFZ450 but the 350 is still good if you're starting out.
@kukhufvud Maybe 20hp, top speed from stock would be about 110 km, could easily go faster with some larger sprockets

No the YZF450 is 450cc fuel injected & the YFM350R is 350cc Carbureted so is slower. The 450 is much much faster
