As a malayalee, i can attest that none of the remakes has done justice to the original 'Manichithrathaazhu'. It was a movie which discussed the importance of western approach to mental health while being rooted in local culture. And now they keep making these atrocities over and over again, when I thought they couldn't kill the original concept anymore.
