I'm from Louisiana, born and raised ❤ . My sister-in-law had a friend who was gay . He was murdered in 1979, and to this day, Robert's murder has never been solved .
They know who killed China because her blood was found in that car. The owner of the car should know who was driving the car at the time. I pray that they have arrested that individual and he will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

This episode is very interesting. In all honesty, this show is nearly the ONLY show interviewing New Orleans’s citizens who are fabulously articulate. From my experience, every crime show on major networks that I have watched, when New Orleans is the subject matter, every person they interview have oppressively distracting accents as if the networks are spreading a belittling bias towards the New Orleans residents, especially those who are people of color.❤

Being yourself in any enviroment with certain types in our culture unfortunately means your at a high risk of death.The difference in being yourself in an enviroment thats accepting with other cultures is simply the stigma and judgement is slightly less - the risk is there but life is valued more - if you can move out and move away! These women are so brave but its not worth the risk when your in the same areas where hate and ignorance and poverty is high.I would work hard and then go and live as yourself elsewhere - RIP ❤

Murder IS murder. People have to be very careful and not try and deceive people.
Legally there are aggravating factors to murder and mitigating factors. Aggravating factors could be if someone who is overtly different is attacked. Then the attack occurs due to them being different, it’s a hate crime. Mitigating factors are if a parent sees their child being molested and in a moment of rage kill the molester. Aggravating factors will usually carry a harsher sentence. Mitigating factors carry a lighter sentence. Another example is out of the blue killing a trans person , or an elderly person killing their spouse because they want to die due to terminal illness and pain. Those two examples surely shouldn’t carry the same punishment. Still think murder is murder?

I believe that the lady who claims she’s an advocate for that community needs to apologize to society for trying to place the blame on us as a whole for those two murders. Those unfortunate victims were murdered in crimes of passion and by other members of the LBGT community (whether they were undercover or not). She still tried to blame us for the murders for her friends and it’s sad.
There is no boogeyman going around murdering trans people. It’s just not true and it is a narrative that is used to minimize the real issue which is hate crimes committed against ALL black people. The LBGT community is the most, and I repeat THE MOST protected community in American society. I cannot watch a modern TV show without a LBGT sex scene being crowbarred into it and I cannot voice my opinion about the LBGT community without getting fired!
