Some guys don't like it. If it needs it, I do it. I try to incorporate the event announcer as much as humanly possible.

Was a first for me too!!!
Not that uncommon with the 4wd classes. Most of the weight is on the front tires. That's why when you see them steering when not hooked up, they kind of crab walk a bit.
I will admit that that was an extreme example of what happens when you hit the gas a little to hard backing one of these beasts up. And also why most front weight boxes have rollers on the bottom.
He has all his weight cantilevered over the front, so there is no weight on the ass. You can literally walk up and lift the ass off the ground!
Watched this on 2x speed and didnt even notice.
Good show,I used to run 2wd class at fairs,74 Chevy,427big block on alcohol,,stock 4speed trans,bf Goodrich mud terrains,used to practice by pulling my case 550 bucket loader around with blade in the dirt,good memories!

Thanks. It is just that you can’t hear the announcers in this particular venue. I may keep on doing some speaking on videos as time permits. I put cameras in a lot of places where I want to see the pull from myself.

I do not narrate when I have an announcer I can hear and viewers can understand clearly. I will for pulls like this one where it was hard to hear.

I've seen a lot of things in pulling! I have never seen something like that when backing up.

im more of a Ford guy but i love those V8 S-10's...i built one back in the early 90's when some idiot drunk told me the 2.8 V6 bell housing was the same as the V8. turned out not to be true but it was too late. i was bound and determined to get the 305 i paid 200 bucks for into that truck...little did i know what a little beast i was creating because it went from an anemic weak truck that literally got stuck going down hill to a 4 BBL 4.10 geared 2wd screamer that would just blast its way out of anything. if i had i would have taken more time and care building it. at one point i had wheels from a Pontiac LeMans on it, 60's all the way around with fat tires in the rear., sway bars, shocks with the stock stiff heavy springs made it corner surprisingly well...sold it thinking id do one for real one day using all the right parts but life got in the way and now one accident later im happy if i can change the oil on our vehicles let alone ever be able to pull a motor or do anything like what i used to... do it while you still can is my advice
