FMT they are, but through a 3rd party. I’d look at Dave Page Cobbler, Rocky Mountain Resole or similar. The boots are surprisingly robust, especially considering their weight, we’ve found extreme heat and decomposing granite to be the hardest on them (think Phoenix in the summer time) but given the intended application on snow, they’re pretty awesome. From out of the box fit for a lot of feet, and extreme ankle support- that isn’t prohibitive- and incredible walk ability given their stiffness, they are a really unique and awesome boot for a lot of applications.
Coming from a climbing/mountaineering/resoling background these are the most exciting new boots I've laced up. I just got a pair so no real review yet but I've burned through a bunch of mountain boots. Depending on your use(I bought mine for mountain hunts) the upper will be kinda sloppy before you need a resole. Have fun be safe in the hills.
@@andrewlinesjah4538 Hi they are not comparable to each other. These are mountaineering boots that take crampons so they are much stiffer than the Salomons and they are built specifically for rough terrain. The Salomons are basically a high ankle hiking /running shoe. Comfortable while walking or even running on and off trail but not nearly as durable (especially the soles).
100% CORRECT but they are used as all purpose trail boots too But they are likely the best boots on earth A trail boot that is excellent is Scarpa Kinesis Pro Gtx But I will find a leather lined boot rather than a gore tex lined boot Thanks for your comment Mate ...
Are they resolable?
