- 3 riders and One Zeppelin - this is the first ever Zeppelin Skiing Drop!
Big mountain freerider Fabian Lentsch teams up with the two alpinists Stefan Ager and Andreas Gumpenberger for a gigantic Zeppelin adventure. Their plan is to drop down from the huge Airship on the top of a mountain in the German Alps and ski down the steep face afterwards. Two years of preparation culminate in these unique minutes.

You need to have a mountain with a gnarly river that is really high with snow. First open with Reb Bull climbers climbing this crazy mountain (same mountain for all) , then you can have your crazy awesome kayak lady do some crazy moving maybe through a glacier outlet, then have you fat bikers find a path down, and then have your Free ski/borders come down the snow from a blimp, and have the wingsuit guys jump from the top and have them all meet at the bottom at the same time possibly for a red bull. #makeithappen

I would argue a helicopter is a slightly superior platform for filming
@@paistinlasta1805 yes and no a Helicopter is obviously more manuverable as is a Drone while a airship is obviously a more stable Platform for filming so it depends in what kind of shot you want to do

I thought they were gonna drop from the zeppelin. They just rappelled down from the zeppelin to the mountain, then dropped in.
Well If the airship would come to Close to the mountain it could be damaged quite easily and you dont want that to happen, obviously.

the roping down from the Zeppelin is quite high, maybe they can install an elevator gondola. Of course there are not many who a fit for extreme skiing.

@Zecha Replays that's 99% right. At the first flight with the new technology back in 1997, occurred a problem and the zeppelin lost about 250m of altitude. After dropping lots of weight (water) in the Lake the pilots put the propellers from vertical to horizontal position to gain altitude.

Nice redbull-audi commercial! ;-) I'd rather see snowboard, skate- and ski brands or outddoor clothing brands. Brands are even outblending the excellence of the sportsman. What for "blue jeans and light beer?", as is said in the movie avatar? Or an unhealthy, almost useless energy drink? I'd take/prefer a hit coffee with some sugar inside any time I need a "coffeine-energy" boost. Even a coke, if not frozen above 2850-3250 meters would be mire according to my taste and the fast sugar is guaranteed to light your battery up. But since they don't climb up and drop from a zep, they can't be exhausted. The redbull contracts seem ridiculous, nvm what sports, they're al forced to sip redbull in front of the camera. (Same in skateboarding, even on the podests when they get their medals, i.e. Letitia Buffoni -sweden x-games).
I really like they promote/sponsor cool sports, they wear clothes and caps already, isn't it overdoing it a bit @redbull? + how can you contractually bind somebody to drink your drink at specific occassion if they aren't thirsty? Probably against human rights and dignity? Somewhat disgusting =(

the airship is amazing but the skiing boring.
They did not drop out of a zepplin. They grappled down then skied the face of the mountain. Not even close.

Lame af! Well there is a zeppelin, a mountain and they skied down the face but the #FWT19 is more spectacular and these guys just hike up a mountain. It´s not even a drop :D *rappelling
