So bittersweet for me. In the 1960's 70's and 80's that mall was an amazing place to go and have a wonderful experience. It wasn't anything like you saw on your visit, as you can probably imagine. The crowds of people on the weekends, and during the Christmas season, was a sight to behold. They can demolish the mall but not my many wonderful memories of that lovely era before Amazon. Don't get me wrong, I love Amazon. However, the Amazon experience is missing the social aspect of a mall and that will be a detriment to our ability to relate in a meaningful way to our fellow man in the long run. Thank you so much F.T.A. for your video, and your interest.

@qguru5533 Thank You for sharing your memories of the Mall. We both thought that it had to be a very nice Mall in it's time. It is still nice, just lacking stores. We miss the days when the Malls were popular. Thanks for Watching!

Thanks for the look around before it closes. I was there one time when I visited friends in Findlay many years ago. It is nice to preserve what it was before whatever new changes are coming. As always your drone footage adds a lot with that bird's eye view. I have the Dayton Mall on my list of about 100 things to get to... lol... The owners must change with the times. Malls are going the same way as the home phone, telephone book, magazines, etc. etc... The digital and computer age has changed everything. Also, 2020 was no favor for the Brick and Morter stores... Have a great one and keep up the good work :)

I never knew Findlay, Ohio had a mall and would just go to Lima East Mall for that "mall shopping experience". It seems the end where the former Elder-Beerman's/Bon-Ton was at should be demolished since it's virtually empty already and just tear that part down and wall it off and keep the rest of this mall open as usual for business. Spencer's could have simply relocated to the busier portion of this mall and remained at that same mall. Oh well......I guess maybe I don't know how busy this mall is on a typical day. Good video too.

@Stormtracker440 Thanks for watching and your kind words. We think the Mall was busier than usual due to the Vendor Show. You are right about the Elder Beerman end but sadly it looks like they are going to tear down the part that has all the stores.

@@followthearrows I enjoy your videos, probably because I live in Ohio too. LOL You're welcome. It just seems odd that they would demolish the entire mall and all of those employees, except for the ones at that Best Buy at the end part of that mall will lose their jobs. If Findlay wants a Target shoe horned that area where it's the "busy" part of the mall....that makes no sense and should tear down the area by the former Elder Beermans and put up a Target there instead. Oh well. By the way, I drove by the Buceee's area on Rte 235 yesterday, seems no progress has been done and what video I got really only showed the Buccee's signage plastered all along the fence line next to the highway.

@Stormtracker440 We just drove by the Buc-ee's, not much has changed that you can see. Thanks again for Watching!

@ On the ground, you can only really see the fencing along the highway heading north and it was covered with the Buccee's wording all along it. At the northern end, there is a traffic light and it was red when I got there, but was not able to get any photos of the construction area because basically it was just a parking lot with vehicles and some dump trucks. I do not have a drone, so all of my views of progress of anything like this is done right at ground lever.

@dogbog990 Thanks for sharing that information. We couldn't figure out what it used to be but a Movie Theatre explains it. Thanks for Watching!
