hiya I love this kit & would love to have a go at making it 😁 but I’m not sure if u’ve put the link in the description cause I can’t find it 😞 so plz plz plz can u give me the link (UK) thanks hun xx
Hi Ms. Wendy those are gorgeous flowers. My mama had Alzheimer's. She passed away a couple months ago in May. We do the poppies here in the US also for our military. TFS! Blessings to you!🕊✝🙏🏼💖
This kit looks brilliant & that the proceeds from the sales of the kits are going to charity is amazing, awesome Dennis. The little flowers you made Wendy are absolutely beautiful. Keep on making these amazing videos & keep up you're awesome work too love xxx 💜💜💜
Thank you for this Wendy. Here in the states, remembrance isn’t observed by many any more, it doesn’t mean anything. This is something I will be able to do to help. I am from a military family and served my time in the army. This means a lot, I thank you and Dennis. ❤️
Here in the US poppies are big for Memorial Day, in the spring. We bring flowers to the graves of anyone we lost, but poppies are there for people we lost in wars or conflicts. We wear poppy pins and put them on bouquets of flowers.
How thoughtful and generous. I would love to get a set for our little non profit Art gallery. What a marvelous gift to hand out. Thank you Wendy and special thanks to Dennis.
I remember when I was young that poppies were a big thing for Memorial Day and Remembrance Day. I remember seeing veterans sitting outside grocery stores taking donations and giving out little paper poppies. I haven't seen that for years now. I also remember going to my Grandpa's WWI veteran's reunion every summer. Such a shame that a tradition like that that honors the fallen got lost. I'm not even sure that most people here in the US remember what Memorial Day really means. Now it's all cookouts and a last fling before fall and school restarts.😔
This is so sweet. Poppies are a symbol for our Memorial Day in the US, which is in May. The American Legion has passed out small silk poppies to cars at stop lights for many years as well as taking donations. ❤️
We always gave on Remembrance Day when we lived in the UK, when we moved to Australia in ‘78 they did not celebrate like we did in the UK, not until mid to late 90’s but even so it’s not the same as the UK. The pins came out pretty. I should look at making some out of polymer clay I have enough of the bright red clay and black. Will have to sort out my crafting area again.
@Toonpish Poppies are super important here in the USA too.....at least where I grew up they were. My g-parents never ever forgot to wear a poppy every year
This is so special. What a beautiful kit to create. Sadly, I think most everyone on this amazing world has been touched in some way by those we've lost to conflict and - while every nation/culture has chosen different symbols to denote the remembrance of the fallen - it's a very touching reminder of just how much we all are the same in respecting and remembering those who gave everything.
What a delightful kit and so meaningful. Poppies are a huge thing here in New Zealand. Little red paper poppies to wear on your lapel are sold nationwide , the week before ANZAC DAY.
Hello Wendy from across the pond. Once again you have done it. I always learn something from each of your videos. I hope all is well with you and yours.
In the States, the last Friday of May is National Poppy Day and the last Monday is Memorial Day. That said we were our poppies through the last weekend of May. Outsiders = cornflowers All came out very beautifully. Love the blue color especially. I agree that is a very nice kit.
Absolutely brilliant I have started crocheting poppies that we put up all over our little village in November thank you so much for sharing hugs Shelley ❤❤❤
Wonderful video, Ms Wendy. Those moulds are super cute and all the flowers turned out so amazing 😍,especially those forget me not ones😍😍💜,keep creating and sharing your crafty ideas 💜💜😍
Amazing kit Wendy. Your flowers are absolutely stunningly Beautiful ❤ Remberence Day in Canada is very well celebrated. They sell velvet flocked poppies here and the proceeds go to upgrade the soldiers graves here in Canada. ❤ Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all ❤Take great care and keep creating and smiling xoxo ❤
USA vets make and sell (you give what you can) poppy's on a wire with a forget me knot tag. growing up everyone i knew had theses on there rear view mirrors. I have one on mine now.
@@Toonpish hahaha, that’s a fact!! It went well! I did a bracelet with the “extra” resin and made a dinosaur to go into a dragon egg for 1 of my grandsons, the other 2 will get dragons 🐉 in their eggs. This week, as soon as I build up the courage and confidence, I’ll be attempting putting that dinosaur into an egg. Until then I’m pouring some key chains and a “D” for my 1st (of2) granddaughter’s 🫶🏼
I'm from America where Rememberance Day isn't really observed. I don't think I know anyone who has died in conflict (though my father, may he rest in peace, was in the army in the 60's well before I was born), unless you count a violent shooting, but I've still lost plenty of people (family and friends) so you can bet that I understand the feeling behind this kit. That said, the pins came out really pretty and I'm sure they'll be well appreciated by anyone you give them to. 😊
Thank you so much 😀😀😀 I think the older generation are more inclined to join in the Remembrance Day as it was very close to use growing up. My mother and dad talked about it non stop as a child as it was a very traumatic time. As for me, I also haven’t lost anyone to conflict exactly, but my parents did. And I remember the stories well 💜💜💜💜 Thank you so much 😊
That’s a sweet memorial kit. Pretty lil flowers to brighten anyone’s day. The turned out great! The 3D one is my favorite, it’s so cheerful.🌼 I haven’t tried the polyurethane yet. I usually need all the working time I can get!😂 But, for certain projects and dusted pieces it looks like it’s a great way to go. Thanks Wendy, I always enjoy your videos.
LOVE your purple frangipani flower! They all look amazing. Australia must not have the poppies molds on Temu as I couldn't find them. YES we have remembrance day on the 11th of the 11th here too, here downunder. Blessed Be Wendy :)
Oh this is such a wonderful thing to do Wendy and well done Dennis, I have ordered from him myself, he’s a lovely guy ☺️. You’ve had nothing but success with these flowers, they are simply beautiful 💕
On the 16th September we are having a fundraiser tea for Alzheimer's South Africa Free State province and I am making little brains with handmade forget-me-not flowers to give out during our lucky draw.
@@Toonpish well thank you we try to be nice lol, my late husband was a Hampshire hog and he didn't like it down south too cold whereas Darlington and surrounding area just nice lol
Those flowers are all so pretty! I really like the layered flower. That is pretty cool! My favorites are the blue flowers, though. (One of my favorite colors)
Hi just wanted to say love these flowers also wanted to mention I am not sure about the resin polyurethane as I have this on my floor and over time it does make things go a bit yellow so you might want to check it out I also had a sealer for painting s that I used liquidtex and found out that was the same polyurethane and I must say that my white negative space had tinge of yellow so I had to sand all back carefully and redo with a water based sealer I am just letting you know this of what I have found out xx
Thank you for letting me know 😀😀 all resin yellows over time unfortunately. It’s to do with uv or something 🤷♀️😂😂 companies try to negate this with high class addictives but only time will tell 😀😀💜👍
Yeah Armistice Day here in Australia, 11th November, I think it’s the same over there or very close as we were in the UK in 2021 for it. I’m going to look at Resin Supplies. Thanks heaps. 💗
I absolutely lovedthe flowers and hope I can find these molds and make them to also make money for each charity would like to do the same for autiism as I have it myself. Great video we all have little accidents while creating with resin
😍😍😍 lovely flowers ! I have a question Wendy : does this PU resin have to be worked in a room with about 20° celsius or more or less ? The red pigment is gorgeous. Thank you ❤❤❤
I forgot to mention in the video that the proceeds from the sales of the kits from Resin supplies Den are going to charity. Nice one Dennis👍

Did you explain why you put powder in the bottom of some and then fill them with clear resin in the others you pigment throughout the resin?🥰
No I guess not. I wanted to see if I could get the white resin to go red and not pink 😂😂 sorry about that
No worries I am new to resin I use UV resin I love all the tips and hints thank you🦄🌞🌈
😍😍😍 lovely flowers ! I have a question Wendy : does this PU resin have to be worked in a room with about 20° celsius or more or less ?

I don’t think so no. But it’s very sensitive to moisture so high humidity would not go well 👍💜
"Powder isn’t nice if it goes up your nose."
Depends on the powder… ***tee hee*** 😝😝😝
😂😂😳
You use waaaay to much mica powder. Blowing excess is blowing money.😢 what is on your brush could do all.
I will try to be more frugal 😀
