This is my Land Rover. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My Land Rover is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.....
I won't ever own a Land Rover (thanks disability and discrimination) so it breaks my heart every time I watch someone driving or repairing theirs. (It truly breaks my heart) For some reason, I kept yours going. Always a great watch and seeing you with that smile on your face driving that impressive Landie was great. Painful, for the reason I've explained) but great. Glad to see someone as young as you enjoy these beauties and doing with them what they were intended to do.
Happy New Year Sophie, great to have you back. Looks like you thoroughly enjoyed yourself with the Bowler. Totally agree with you about the small steering wheel, just makes it harder work!
Truely beutiful , and the old landys not to bad neither . nice one sophie and good luck and best wishes with youre new site the four pot landrover club .
Sounds like you’ve had a right time with it👍. I’ve gotta admit, I’ve kinda lost it with defenders. I love my TD5 but it will be my last defender. I don’t feel any of these companies give you anything more than you can buy “off the shelf”🤷♂. For the price of them I’d be off in an older G wagon… and I never thought I’d say that!
HI Sophie only just recently found your UA-cam watched all your videos at work and at home i know your busy at work etc but what happened to the 3 builds you had on the go would love to see the end results xx
Thank you for watching! I'm going to be making a little update video as I feel like I have been missing in action for some time due to devoting time to work/the apprenticeship and such. More to come though, I promise!
Me Acabo de suscribir ahora que veo movimiento por el canal. Este defender es muy bonito y práctico, pero tus land rover cuando estén terminados van a quedar mucho mejor 😀
Great video. You were obviously enjoying yourself. When going to Tesco is fun you know you've made it. Hope your apprenticeship is going well. How are you getting on with your lathe?
It's not either/or. Just think of this as an extra bonus video that's on a slightly different subject! But it's not like doing this one meant that a video of working on old Land Rovers didn't happen.
It is the handbrake drum. This type of Landrover has no handbrake at the real wheels but instead this setup at the end of the transfer case. Kind of transmission brake.
I don’t know why, but fully restored vehicles like this don’t really do it for me. It seems they strip away the character; the history. I prefer a well maintained, but rough (there are different levels of rough) looking so I can tell that vehicle has taken its owner ok many adventures (great and/or small).
As a Series 2A owner , I would need to upgrade this Defender. Put of non powered drum brakes, get rid of the power steering and cushy seats. Install a black plastic steering wheel the size of the London Eye.🎡 Did you say “heated seats”!😱 Oh the shame!🤦🏼♂️ How’s the internship Sophie?👌
We need more videos!!! Nice to see you back.
Glad to be back, more videos to come I promise!
Sophie that one really suits you, respect Bowler for loaning this unit to her.
We got along great, it was quite difficult to hand the keys back over haha! Thank you for watching :-)

Agree with the steering wheel size …. It looks like you are driving a kiddy toy with that one!👍👍
Land rovers are cool, but definitely want to see more of you Sophie!
Great to see you Sophie, that would have been a nice couple of weeks for you, thanks for sharing 🙂
Have to say this is my perfect spec for a 110 💯
The 110 Commercial is my favourite Defender body style ❤
That looks like a Fun Machine to have Sophie..... Great to see you again.... :-)) xxx
Beautiful Northern lass with a stunning defender
Nice to see you back. A Bowler indeed. Lucky you. I've just turned a nice shade of LR green with envy.
Epic to see you back, Bowler is a great brand and that 110 is gorgeous ❤
Glad to see you back Sophie. Maybe one day Bowler will let you tear it around The Moors for a good work out!
Certainly enjoy watching what your doing with the defenders very interesting Sophie
What a great video, smiles per mile. I had no idea Bowler was now an in house part of JLR.

Good to see you back Sophie, how's the series 3 resto going as its been a couple of years since we last saw that one
Me Acabo de suscribir ahora que veo movimiento por el canal. Este defender es muy bonito y práctico, pero tus land rover cuando estén terminados van a quedar mucho mejor 😀
Very tasty , perfect brand ambassador .
Make a video of your exhaust whilst you rev it 😍
Nice car 😊👍🏻👍🏻
I bet that would be a great ride on a four wheeler
Great video. You were obviously enjoying yourself. When going to Tesco is fun you know you've made it. Hope your apprenticeship is going well. How are you getting on with your lathe?
Wish it was a video of you working, easier to relate to as opposed to something most of us could never afford.
It's not either/or. Just think of this as an extra bonus video that's on a slightly different subject! But it's not like doing this one meant that a video of working on old Land Rovers didn't happen.
nice , did thay make ya clean it after :D and same for me on steering wheel , never liked that in any car.
Haha, the 110 went back spotless - like I'd clean one of my own! Thanks for watching :-)
Great looking 110 and some nice Touches!! But!……..No V8
Power Plant 🙁🙁😵😭😭
Have they sorted the security so it’s not stupidly easy to steal, strip and get rid of with no consequences?
Is it missing transmission mounting? @3:30
Between the 300TDI, TD5 and 2.2 puma engines which do you think is best and why for the Defender?
That's one sick looking car, Will you be adding some LED headlights to your own Car
What is the large black disk bolted to the driveshaft? It looks like cast iron, is it a flywheel?

Hi Sophie, may I know is your tyre size is 33"? Currently I am using 35" and was thinking change to smaller next due. thanks
👍🤩👍

seems they still didn't fix the heating... ? 🙂
Sophie ❤üdv szuper 😊
Hi, What hapend to the Discovery build?
Where is Sophie..does anyone know
@LandRoverSophie 😟 Missing your content, you seem to have vanished🥺
Anyone know where Sophie's gone to?
So td5 and v8 owners cant join?
I also don't like the small racing wheels. They can cause nasty hand injuries when it kicks back offroad. Also doesn't fit the aesthetic at all.
Captain positive here
We're you at girl...I hope you're ok
hi beauty
Do you drive barefoot 🦶
As a Series 2A owner , I would need to upgrade this Defender.
