i just got a 1988 one of these (1.8D), arrived today, love it. looking around for what to look out for, how to look after it, so thank you for doing this video
I can't wait until like a year and a half or two years down the road you will find the memory card. You'll be wondering: "What is this? Oh goodness this is a throwback!" Great video!
Thank you very much! I can't wait to find that memory card. I put off making this video for so long due to the lost footage so it's good to hear people like it.
Nice video.Looks a nice, generally solid car. Good to have the lift to work on your projects. I need some brake pipes for my cj 205 too but have never had much success when trying to make pipes myself so will need to get help for that bit.
Ah, I assumed this was a fix it and sell it adventure to yield funds for you-know-where. Since I'm wrong so often, I'm well content to have been wrong again. And it wasn't just the French who had some . . . vulnerability with stem seals. Thanks for posting. Really enjoyed it.
Ah you're not completely wrong! I was initially intending to sell it for profit. And in the last few weeks I've invested in something which is almost as rare as the Saab (possibly in a future video, maybe this coming weekend), so this may have to go in order to make room.
