Με τίτλο «A surprise from Greece», ο Δήμος Ξυλοκάστρου - Ευρωστίνης ταξιδεύει μέσα από το νέο του διαφημιστικό βίντεο στην Ιαπωνία, εξασφαλίζοντας την υποψηφιότητά του για βράβευση στο «Japan's World Tourism Film Festival / International Competition, JWTFF 2023». Παράλληλα, διαθέτει πιθανότητες προβολής στο φεστιβάλ ταινιών τουριστικού περιεχομένου «The Global Tourism Film Festival (GTFF), 2023» που φιλοξενεί φέτος ο Καναδάς.
Κεντρικό θέμα της ταινίας αποτελεί μια τετραμελής οικογένεια, η οποία διέρχεται από την περιοχή, έχοντας αρχικά έναν διαφορετικό τελικό προορισμό. Απροσδόκητα το αυτοκίνητό τους χαλάει κι έτσι το ανδρόγυνο με τα δυο τους παιδιά αναγκάζονται να παραμείνουν στον άγνωστο μέχρι ώρας τόπο για δύο ημέρες.
Μέσα από την περιπέτεια της οικογένειας, ο δυνητικός επισκέπτης έχει την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσει πολλές από τις ομορφιές του τόπου αλλά και κοντινούς αρχαιολογικούς προορισμούς. Η χαλάρωση στα beach bars, η περιπλάνηση στο δάσος του Πευκιά, το ψάρεμα στον Κορινθιακό, μια ομαδική ποδηλατάδα στην ακτογραμμή και η περιήγηση στα στενάκια του Δερβενίου είναι μόνο μερικές από τις ασχολίες που κάνουν τους επισκέπτες να «ερωτεύονται» το μέρος μέρα με τη μέρα. Από τη βόλτα φυσικά δεν λείπουν και οι ορεινές πτυχές του τόπου, όπως η επίσκεψη στον πύργο του Κορδή, τα ψητά καλούδια στην Καρυά Κορινθίας, το παραμυθένιο ρέμα των Μύλων στη Ζάχολη, οι παραδοσιακές λιχουδιές στη Ρίζα και η θρησκευτική περιήγηση στην Παναγία την «Καταφυγιώτισσα», το μοναστήρι του Αγίου Κωνσταντίνου και την Παναγία την Κορφιώτισσα.

Under the title "A surprise from Greece," the Municipality of Xylokastro - Evrostina travels through its new promotional video to Japan, securing its nomination for an award at the "Japan's World Tourism Film Festival / International Competition, JWTFF 2023." The central theme of the film revolves around a family of four, initially headed for a different final destination while passing through the area. Unexpectedly, their car breaks down, forcing the couple with their two children to stay in the unknown place for two days.
Throughout the family's adventure, the potential visitor has the opportunity to discover many of the beauties of the area as well as nearby archaeological destinations. Relaxing at beach bars, wandering in the Pefkia forest, fishing in the Corinthian Gulf, a group bike ride along the coastline, and exploring the narrow streets of Dervenio are just a few of the activities that captivate visitors, making them fall in love with the place day by day.
Of course, the mountainous aspects of the area are also highlighted in the excursion, such as a visit to the Kordis' Tower, indulging in grilled delicacies in Karya Corinthias, the enchanting Mills Stream located in Zacholi, traditional delicacies in Riza, and a religious tour visiting Panagia "Kataphygiotissa," the Monastery of Agios Konstantinos, and Panagia "Korfiotissa", you may find in Kamari of Corinthia.
