hi I'm a Taiwanese, I want share the way we cook lion mane with you.
we usually make soup with it,first to cut it into cubes, fry it with sesame oil, than boil it with Wolfberry shrub, ginseng, or and traditional Chinese medicine, can add some salt if you like
I don't know how to describe it simple ,but I think it's a healthy and delicious way to eat it,maybe you can find some English video about it,I highlyrecommend!!

I have been growing mushrooms in my kitchen, here is a free tip: you can grow easily Ostreatus on straw or hard wood pellets without going through sterilization process, which makes things much easier. However, following the same process, I had contaminations when trying to grow shiitaki and lion's mane (contamination appeared in 80% of my buckets, and 0% contamination when growing Ostreatus). Shiitaki and lion's mane revealed to be more sensitive and do require to sterilize the substrat.

Thanks Tony for sharing your knowledge. I appreciate it very much. Because of your videos I found a local person growing lions mane and oyster. I bought 1.68 lb. She wasn't to helpful with answering my questions about growing it. Maybe she thought I would be competition. I fried some with Zatarain Fish fry. Also some catfish. It was pretty good. It sorta reminded me of fried oysters. But anyway I'm going to try and make a tincture out of the rest of it. The amount of plastic waste in mushroom cultivation is insane! Is there any strategies that help reduced reliance on it, or do you just lose competitively with those willing to use shit loads of single use plastics in production?

This past Tuesday (9/28) was 7 days of mine fruiting. I have one growing the size of a small white button mushroom. I'm hoping it will grow much larger. 20 degrees C in 90% humidity. Thought it would be bigger but I still have plenty of mycelium to try again if this one stays relatively small. First time growing any kind of mushroom

Great job with this video. Impressed by your ability to convey information by speaking clearly and quickly. I normally have to speed up videos like this. It's also nice having all the example photos and videos. Do you ever re-use spent mycelium from a grow bag/bucket? Maybe in something like an outdoor garden bed. It's not clear to me yet from research if the mycelium itself gets old or if it's just out of food after a few flushes and would otherwise be good to start the process anew.

Obviously your lions mane, or caffeine is kicking in. 😊. If you can slow your speaking pace a little it would help viewers comprehension level. I've come to believe that if someone is familiar with a topic then learning at a fast pace is easy. If unfamiliar, then a slower pace works better for some as it allows one to think through the material. Please try a little slower pace? 👍👍

I want to grow my own lions mane (amongst many reasons) to save money rather than buying capsules, which usually have about 15 grams per purchase. Do these self growing fruiting lions manes weigh more? What is a pretty regular amount you end up harvesting?
And thanks for making this video! So incredibly interesting. I hope to harvest a ton of these and make them for my grandparents to help treat some of their dementia.

Thank you for sharing the knowledge but please would be able to clarify, when you put plastic bag into the pressure cooker for two and half hour to sterilise how much water you need to put into the pressure cooker? How long do you need on the stove? Or just dip the bag into boiled water and leave in the pressure cooker? You help in this mater is greatly appreciated. Thank you. 👍❤️
