And IT WAS a commercial success to boot.

I am a very eclectic musician and I've heard a lot of music. But this song touches me in a very special way especially when it moves to the chorus with MMMMM in those minor chords it goes right through me. This piece draws attention away from the chorus with the hummimg and gives the listener pause for reflection on what was just said. Extremely effective rhetorical device. The range and inflections of the vocals make it stand out as unique in memory. And the angelic voices in the end is gorgeous. Uniquely creative; I applaud Crash Test Dummies.

But what I was getting at with the question was because I know one would not be legally allowed to have their toes or fingers webbed if they were trying to become Olympians, so I always wondered if people who were naturally webbed would be allowed. I would have considered myself a professional swimmer if mine were webbed. 😊 But I LOVE swimming.

Brad Roberts more or less deliberately gives his voice inflections a "dufus" quality that is sorta of endearing -- but the chord progression and harmonics in the middle and at the end is unique and gives the song a sort of melancholy relevance to what is real life to some people. it ain't *_Everybody Hurts_* (R.E.M.) but it's in that realm.

E o terceiro e um garoto que os pais obrigavam ir para igreja e praticar atos estranhos contra sua vontade.
