Man, this is a seriously great video! Really interesting. I'm not super into pinball, but I've just tried the digital release of Zaccaria Pinball on my Nintendo Switch and was curious about the tables, so I ended up here. Seeing the extra panel, the neon light and your explanation of how everything works and the little idiosyncrasies of the Zaccaria tables was very cool. Playing pinball on home consoles is fun, but I miss the "feeling" of the real machines. This video brought me a little closer to this feeling, so thanks for that!
Thank you very much for your input and comments...they are appreciated! Keep watching! Watch this Farfalla video we recently made...you will love it and its high def! ua-cam.com/video/bdu1L0ztlKI/v-deo.html
I actually own this table and another table from Zaccaria, Time Machine. They're both great playing tables with beautiful artwork and great features. It is sad that so many of them are junked, they are fantastic tables and not many people seem to know about their existance.
Yeah. Very sad. In my city of Perth, we had 5 big arcades side-by-side on the beach-front. Two of the halls were massive...maybe 40 or 50 yards long. There must have been 400 pinball machines in total in those 5 arcades - plus some old school shooting/baseball/love tester type things. In 1983 all of the arcades were demolished to make way for a luxury hotel. All the machines were taken to the city dump. They didn't even attempt to sell them. I tried to convince my parents to take me to the dump to rescue a few but they weren't having any of that. :(
Very cool presentation of this table's operation. I've recently installed Zaccaria Steam edition, and have been slowly discovering the tables from Zaccaria, with it. Only wish the dev had been able to get all the sound roms working in has version. At least the speech portions work. Thanks for sharing this work with us.
If ever you are visiting Montreal stop by the North Star on St. Laurent street downtown they give you the rare privilege of playing a very good condition Farfalla for a dollar a play. I love getting to play one of my teen favorites now if only they could bring in a Eight ball deluxe I would have it made! About Farfalla always a fantasy piece, gorgeous artwork & unique sounds was always underrated.
I hope it's ok to answer in place of the original poster... - The highest amount is 99 time units (1 unit is worth ~1/2 second). BTW: The count down can be stopped, if you win an XB while time is counting down - and even more units can be collected then! - Yes, FARFALLA allows you to accumulate a max. of 3 Extra Balls per Ball in Play! (Bonusballs - backlit lower left corner on Backglass)
I actually remember this machine. I can't remember the name of the operator, but I'm pretty sure this was in a pool hall on Wilson Ave in Toronto. The operator who ran this machine tended to stay with Gottlieb and other smaller manufacturers. He didn't touch Williams, Bally.
It looks like the lower flippers were replaced because the video shows. the game with white flippers at the bottom and red ones at the top, the pictures of the ones I seen have red flippers at both the upper and lower playfields.
Zaccaria had some awesome Pinball machines and FARFALLA was one of the more notable ones - i got to play this again after many ,many decades at Replay FX Pinburg 2018 in Pittsburg, Pa -- ( Im 100x better on the virtual version than the real one). p
RIP Harry ❤️ thanks for inspiring these videos.
Yes...I often think about him.
@@tntamusements How did he pass away?

The wonderful Zaccaria Pinball simulator has been released on PC.
This vid is very helpful! Beautiful machine!
I will have to see how it compares!
Great addition!
Wow! Italian pinball. Great sounds coming out of it. A lot of interesting features. Wish I saw some of this company's machines
You just don;t see alot of this manufacturer anymore...many of them were junked...sadly, that's what happens!

I always liked this game...have perhaps 4 of them over the years.

Probably only this machine saw a wider release in the USA than their other games. Sadly, there are less and less of them remaining each year.
Zaccaria flipper bats are very unique, instead of being one individual piece, they are 2 separate components; a base and a cap.
Yes...well made too!

Tod, any new zaccaria vid coming?
Only if we recondition one for someone. They rarely are seen these days.
i'm intrigued, what happened to Harry? He certainly doesn't look old enough to have died in 1998?

that is very possible as parts for these machines back then were just not around!

Yes...there are more of them turning up.
The Game Over shouldn't be blinking when it\s Game Over
It means that the battery is gone or the setup for the game is not ok.
