I always love seeing people put TLC into their electronics. I'd say that laptop is truly yours! Personally, I'd install ubuntu on it, perfect linux machine.
wow, you have patience to repair this old machine, I myself had 3 laptops, attempted to fix them before but I decided to disassemble all of them for pieces, to me, laptops are too...specialized, unllike PC which can be modified freely, anyway great work and thumb up for you, subcribed before already!

Nice job I threw away 2 exact same model last week, I would run Linux on there will me much faster
