thank you so much. i appreciate a logical approach to anything, and the fact that you acknowledge the cons and explain why they can happen has definitley saved myself and so many others from future freak out sessions of *OMG why did it fall out!!** great job :)
Thanks for sharing. I am going to eventually going transition into locs. I am considering sister locks. Thanks for the video... You hair is fabulous here.
Hey. Very useful indeed - would have loved to have seen this before I began my journey, but I'm already on bars experiencing the pitfalls, but as you say, the positives outweigh the negatives! Love the TV part, lol
I am about to get sisterlocks next month which will be life changing I'm a little worried weather I will be able to manage the change. Thanks again for your tips and will keep watching for updates.
No I decided not to get them. No matter what I'll have to deal with a tremendous amount maintenance. Which is no different from what I already experiencing.
This is definitely the best advice video I've seen so far!! I am currently thinking seriously about getting sisterlocks installed and the only downside that made me wince was the one about the locks actually falling out!! However, it's not my intention to grow long locks. I want to wear them in a medium length kind of afro style, so I'm thinking that this will greatly reduce the weight on my scalp and help them stay in place. Can you let me know if this is good thinking? My consultant is very experienced so I'm looking forward to a nice journey. However, I'm still trying to gather as much information as I can from all the sources I can find. Thanks again for making this great video!! xxx
New subbie🤗 Your hair is fabulous! This was the best sisterlock research video I've come across here on YT. My sisterlocks were born on March 8, 2017!! I'm still wearing a shorty-do wig because I'm not comfortable with the scalpy look. My hair is fine and thin so I'll be patient until they thicken up some. Thanks for candid and realistic info. Very valuable!
Naomi Rain, thank you for this very informative video. You locks are beautiful. I love the length and style at this point of your journey. I'm sure they're longer and still gorgeous, as I'm realizing this video is over 3 yrs old. I just subscribed and look forward to researching your other videos. I have been wanting SisterLocks for sometime now, however I color my hair every other month. Not quite ready to embrace the gray hairs in front....😕. What are your thoughts on this? Take care.
sharron bradshaw Hi there! Thank you! Grays are my struggle too. They have gotten worse over the years. I generally colour black every 3 months but of late haven't due to health conditions. Having said that I found this spray that is a temporary fix. I'll show case it in my next video. Stay blessed!
naomirain, Wow! Thank you so much for the quick response! I pray that your health condition will continue to improve, soon to be gone. Yes, the temporary color spray is a great idea while getting started. You have encouraged me to proceed with SisterLocks! I will stay in touch. Take care.
trainees are is definitely less expensive than certified consultants. it's been 17 months for me and I recently experience a lock fall out. my consultant said it happens sometime. mine was mainly because it was at my temple and was small from the beginning

Your accent sounds like a blend between the British accent and Nigerian. You have a beautiful, soft, calming voice.
Right on the money! thanks

That's a great idea. Some people find that their hair thins out with length. I won't be growing mine too long either. Thanks for your comment.
