I would not recommend buying this product. I tried leaving my reviews on Amazon (bought it at a local retailer) with pictures and so far, has not gone through. After owning it for 6 months, I noticed rust everywhere even around the electrical components. The motor had to be replaced after one year. Now the brake malfunction alarm keeps going off and it won't work half the time. Yes, I keep in indoors when not in use, yes I have been caught out in the rain a few times while on it and I always dry it off afterwards. This is meant to be used outside as well, not. By the way, I'm 5'5" and weigh 160 pounds. Not too heavy for this in any way. I am leaving this comment on all video's about this particular scooter.

For a Handicapped Person, disassembly would be very difficult without having a healthy person with you taking it apart :-)
