I can understand why people will love this new Golden palette, but what I love about my original Gold palette is the teals mixed with the golds and browns, and the greeny golds. I know it’s really old, but mine still performs really well. I wish she would eventually release a version of the original Gold with smaller pans at a lower price, but I don’t need it now.
I agree! But I would have bought this one, if it wasn’t that I got the original a couple months ago for only €50 euro (second hand but not used!) I do love the super light mattes, those are not in the original
WOW wow wow!!! Those swatches and comparisons were shocking! Cannot believe how different the formula is :( the old eyeshadows look so much smoother. While I am disappointed to see that the new shadows don't perform the same way, I will still buy the palette just because I missed out on the old version.

I am hoping when she does a Mini palette for this she includes the greens/teals. She usually does make the minis different enough from the Midi palette! that would be fun and also nice for the peeps that miss the greens 💚
Wow you can see the difference in how smooth the original palette is to the new one. Which is wild because that’s a much older palette. I never got the original so I’m still excited to get the new one.
I like the original gold better. (not the packaging ;) It seems like any new shade in the new palette, I can find in her I Need a Nude palette. And i love the addition of the lime and green colors. It just elevates the color story and makes it a bit more versatile. Thank you for such an indepth deep dive!
I’ll pass on this one for that very reason. I think there is an extremely slight variation in so many shades, but on the eye, you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. It’s like an album with 18 slow ballad songs and 2 dance…boring. And then seeing the poor performance of the matte shades, it’s a big disappointment.
People said the same about INAN palette and it’s still a bestseller. Also these new eyeshadows are much more flattering then the old, more diverse ones

I’m so glad I got the Gold palette years ago when I did. You can definitely tell a difference in the swatches- which is understandable since they’re both at different price points. Seems like she dulled down the formula to make more “affordable” palettes. Even though $69 is still expensive. At this point all I care about is the formula & I’d rather save up a little more to get something actually worth it. I love all of Natasha’s earlier palettes!
This new ND gold palette reminds me of Feeling Bubbly by Colourpop - a very similar colour story, but the shimmers are a bit more on a neutral/cold side
I used to be all about color, crazy beautiful eye looks (imho), but I'm loving neutral looks, too. I love this release. I do have Gold, but getting my hands on Golden is a makeup priority 😊 Thanks for the very in-depth review!

i know this is random, but i loveeee how messy your palette is already!!! i don’t have the original gold palette, ambiance, or naked honey, and i think the new one looks really pretty, but i wish she would’ve put in those shimmery gold/greens and that mustard could’ve DEFINITELY replaced one of those light ass mattes. i do love the neutrality of the palette, because i’m not a huge warm tone lover. i’m still craving the INAN palette!!! i can’t wait to see your look with it tomorrow!!! 💛💛💛

I'm curious about the performance on the eyes. I'll probably buy Golden because I collect Natasha LOL, but I think my Gold palette is still going to be a favorite.
I never post under videos but I was really on the fence to spend the $ on the ND since I have the UD Honey already. Truth is I hate the yellow tones in honey. It looks so wrong on my skin but the ND looks much cooler with much less yellow. Showing that comparison between brands in real time really was amazing. Ty, ty so much for this video that helped me decide.
The packaging is so pretty, I have the original gold and the UD Naked Honey palette, so I’m good, but I may change my mind😅. I absolutely love the bronze palette for summer and fall, it’s definitely more warm. Thank you, good video.
The two golds in the huda empowered palette might be similar to a couple golds in the new golden palette. Maybe not any other shades though…. I don’t reach for that color gold very often. But…. That shade Nubia, I cannot wait for that shade!

I have been using matte white more often lately. Highlighting my inner eye, contour/highlight the middle of the nose and under the brow bone. Before I had no idea what to use it for!! I am glad she included some lighter shades in this new palette. It will make it more user friendly I think
I own the OG one and I purchased the new one with 30% off which is amazing it ended up being 50€ which is better than paying 72Eur (feel like in Europe we pay more for the same) and they are made in Europe! Thank you for this quick review!! AMAZING!
This is a classic one for me! Not too orange/red and not too gray. It’s a perfect medium IMO. I have the INAN palette and it’s lovely but this is a perfect sister palette. I think ND is going to move in a softer way in the color wheel and not do as many super bright colors. Plus the new packaging in these new palettes are awesome! We can pick which color way we like the most and mix and match and make our custom palette 🎉

I love the greenish tones in my Gold palette. There are some similar shades in the Yucca palette. Perhaps, that is why she chose to leave them out of this particular palette.
I love warm brown shadows, but the colors in the Gold palette are too similar to other colors I have, so no for me on this palette. Like some others, I like the Gold palette with the pop of teals much better. I know I’m in the minority, but Natasha Denona’s palettes don’t excite me very much. I do own My Dream Palette and the Bronze palette, but I just don’t use them much. For the ladies who love this, enjoy! ❤
ND has dialled back on the preservatives she’s used in the last couple of midi palettes. I wonder if she’s had to formulate particularly the mattes without emollients so they don’t go off prematurely? Might be why they feel more dry and look patchy?
I was so waiting for this palette as I love gold colors on my Greek Mediterranean skintone BUT those mattes look all the ,same and really not impressed. So I made up my mind im buying the new Ysl quad in Dore ( gold ) .Much love from Greece 🇬🇷 ❤You are beautiful 🎉
Thank you SO much for doing the swatches as you did them with the comparisons. I would have been very disappointed if I bought this and expected perfection. I'm a huge Natasha fan, but honestly, I have almost everything she has done (except for the golden); however, I have all of her minis that have so many gold shades and similar shades to these, I am not lacking in gold shades (plus, I have all of the pat mcgrath motherships which are very heavy in golds). I love the nude and gold mini's from Natasha and I could probably get the same looks using what I have and not spend the heavy coin. When I can get this on sale, I'll probably get it for convenience, but I'm not happy with the performance of those mattes. I'm thinking she used a different manufacturer and that made the difference. Also, there are golds in the Yucca that I use all the time, that rose gold especially. Again, thank you for your candor and for doing this so well. I am a new subscriber but I will be viewing your videos all the time now.

The draw to the Gold palette, for me, was the blue/greens. Other than those two shades, to me, it's the same shades as 20 other palettes I have.

Are the green-golden shades in the OG pallet similar to the ones in the Yucca palette?
That looks SO pretty! That would be the perfect everyday pallette. What pallette of hers do you think has the best shimmers? I want something super shimmery!
Taylor Swift is in my city from Thursday in UK and I’m so excited.
I love the greenish tones in my Gold palette. There are some similar shades in the Yucca palette. Perhaps, that is why she chose to leave them out of this particular palette.
I’m curious if she will do something like this for Biba as well

I still have my Gold palette, but I'm getting this too.
I mean this color story is just 110% what I use so much of the time.
I love warm brown shadows, but the colors in the Gold palette are too similar to other colors I have, so no for me on this palette. Like some others, I like the Gold palette with the pop of teals much better. I know I’m in the minority, but Natasha Denona’s palettes don’t excite me very much. I do own My Dream Palette and the Bronze palette, but I just don’t use them much. For the ladies who love this, enjoy! ❤

Natasha’s newer formula doesn’t swatch like most chalkier shadows do. But on the eyes they are perfection!

ND has dialled back on the preservatives she’s used in the last couple of midi palettes. I wonder if she’s had to formulate particularly the mattes without emollients so they don’t go off prematurely? Might be why they feel more dry and look patchy?

I was so waiting for this palette as I love gold colors on my Greek Mediterranean skintone BUT those mattes look all the ,same and really not impressed. So I made up my mind im buying the new Ysl quad in Dore ( gold ) .Much love from Greece 🇬🇷 ❤You are beautiful 🎉
Thank you SO much for doing the swatches as you did them with the comparisons. I would have been very disappointed if I bought this and expected perfection. I'm a huge Natasha fan, but honestly, I have almost everything she has done (except for the golden); however, I have all of her minis that have so many gold shades and similar shades to these, I am not lacking in gold shades (plus, I have all of the pat mcgrath motherships which are very heavy in golds). I love the nude and gold mini's from Natasha and I could probably get the same looks using what I have and not spend the heavy coin. When I can get this on sale, I'll probably get it for convenience, but I'm not happy with the performance of those mattes. I'm thinking she used a different manufacturer and that made the difference. Also, there are golds in the Yucca that I use all the time, that rose gold especially. Again, thank you for your candor and for doing this so well. I am a new subscriber but I will be viewing your videos all the time now.
