You’re at the store gettin’ TP and hand stuff
The guy behind you is too close and that’s rough
He isn’t following CDC guidelines
You turn to him and politely say, “Hey sir,
We want to flatten this curve and that’s for sure”
But he doesn’t back off in the checkout line
Six feet between us
Don’t have to go to Venus
No need to panic but
Please keep your distance
Dreaming ‘bout the day when this all is behind us
But the CDC has got clear guidelines
If you can, work from your home instead of from the office
Close your schools and switch to online classes

He’s young and healthy so the risks he’s willing to take
He’s laughing on a park bench and he starts to yell,
“It’ll never get me!”
But this sad dolt doesn’t understand hygiene
Could be a carrier for grampa with emphysema
Could be bringing it to his friend Pat
I hope that people will be smarter than that
Global pandemics
Are worse than epidemics
