Extremely interesting video! It surely is very technical but it is very well done and Nathan is certainly the best person possible to explain the nuts and bolts of those catamarans.
thank you for showing us details on how these things run , I wish I had one of these for the ruff rider race in texas , from south padre to corpus I could kick all my buddies butts
This is a classic Beau, I got a duck and was wondering if you could help making it all work ? What you guys have done is just so good mate ! Ha ha ! Was thinking of just bolting them to the transom with a fifty on it... Or if you know of a cheap hull going ?
I hope the higher powers listen to you and open this up to more development. Like L-boards and mounting from underneath. I'm not in the sport but have sailed recreational cats for 20 years. This is the nature of technology and advancement. Don't regulate advancement.

Interesting to see that the rudder boxes are almost identical to the ones we made in the early 1980s. Progress :-)
Good designs win. :)
Thank you Nathan for a great video. Can you adjust the level of hydrofoil during sailing?

Reverse the J outwards and swap port and starboard. More stability. What angle incidence rear foils? 0⁰?
what's the top speed?
great video and thx for a good introduction.
our cat did 33 knots 40 years ago. Same size, but no verbally expansive, expensive wankers on board. They are killing the sport.
How can I get a set of foils for my boat ?
