I was at BMW dealer to get my 3rd BMW in a row “an M235i” when I saw a White on Black fully loaded paceman rolling into the showroom. It was like Love at first sight. Couldn’t resist not taking it home that very same day. 5 years later, this thing has been coping with me through my outdoors activities specially my trips to practice backcountry skiing. It’s so practical in winter fir it’s all wheel drive capabilities and it’s so unique style wise. I never held to a car for more than 5 years but the paceman will never leave my garage.
Dude, have just bought a black with white stripes one today and hello, both my husband and I saw it and we were like SHAZAAAAM…. Bought it an hour later. We are just so in love with this purchase… just OMG all around.. so excited !
My wife has one. She won’t let go of it and she won’t exchange it for another model. Mini should never have stopped making it and it would have been ideal for all electric in my view.

I just saw one of these yesterday for the first time and searched for it here to learn more. The Paceman I saw looked brand new, so the owner must take good care of it. Cool car, but I still prefer my Clubman!
Rare and such perfection! That parking break is right out of the fighter aircrafts! With very little mods the 0-60 can do 5 easy..upgrade the turbo DONE, although the torque comes on low for most it's fast like is! Maybe future models will bring it back ☺️

My mom (75) has a 2015 S All4 and hits 90mph all the time in it. You’re only as old as you feel and this car helps her feel young every time she turns the key. Some of the best cars on the road. #magnasteyr

@@Skysdalimit247 I wanted a car that had AWD, under 45k miles, and under $10k. After a lot of negotiating i was able to get my Paceman down to the price I wanted. If it was a Countryman I would have bought that. I went for what was available on the market. But, I really do like the 2 doors better than 4, also the sloping roof line that the Paceman has is a better look in my opinion. My daughter (5 yo) has no trouble getting in the back in her car seat. It is actually easier to strap her in than in my wife's SUV because I can get in front of her to tighten the straps than have to stand beside her. Sorry for the long answer, short answer is that i didn't consider a Countryman because I didn't fine one.

@@Skysdalimit247 I wish I could tell you if it is a good price. I am not well versed in pricing cars. I used KBB.com and the NADA price guides for my specific model and features. I found those tools to be great. The NADA one consistently had higher prices I found. Mine was a 2013 All4 S and 39k miles, cold weather package, duel moon roof, and no navigation. I had a mechanic look at mine before I bought it, and he gave me the ok. KBB had the fair purchase price at about $11,400, I got it for $9,900, but this was in the heart of the pandemic shutdown also. Good luck, let me know how it goes.

I have a lot more options than this one (a 2015 purchased with 42,000 m). The nav takes the spot of the large speedometer that moves to behind the right steering wheel slot . This car is family for life ;-)
We have a white one with only 30,000 KM on it my wife loves it. It has been unstoppable in the snow with winter tires on it in Alberta Canada. We have a Paceman ALL 4 a Cooper S and a Cooper convertible.
Hey new to the channel and huge Mini fan. Previously owned a 2007 Cooper Base that was my first. Currently have a 2019 Countyman F60. But most recently I found a Unicorn 🦄 and I just had to have it... 2013 Paceman S All4 JCW R61! I had to jump some hoops but it’s now in my garage next to the F60.
If mini decided to make a countryman GP they better get rid of the rear doors, it would be a nod to the mini market as a the paceman revival. I had one as a loaner vehicle years ago , it was a 2013 in Blue. Very nice car. Blends both the fun of the Mini Cooper hardtop with suv feel of the countryman. One day I hope to do a review on one
I have a 2016 paceman. Love it! This is my 3rd mini. If only the dealership in Calgary would get their shit together. Cant order parts... and service wrecks something everytime you need to take it in. So beware.... mini dealerships are great at selling you the car then seems your on your own afterwards.
The scourge of any Mini forecourt in the UK. I was down at training at the BMW Academy for the electric and we were speaking to the guy who developed the Paceman, he could only laugh when we mentioned it.
Just purchased a 2014 MCS Paceman this week. Chili Red and Black..Low Miles and Clean..for $10,000 I previously leased a 2015 MCS Paceman. But I traded in for a 2018 MCS Countryman..since my lease ends soon. Liked the Countryman..but not a Paceman.. Looking forward to putting some miles on my Paceman..which I will share with my 2007 MCS Convertible.
Noticed a major difference on the interior between the 2013 and this 2014 shown in the video. I recently bought a 2013 Paceman. My console runs all the way back to between the 2 back seats with the cup holders sitting above the 2 back seats. With that it came with LEDs built in that light up when you go to enter or leave the vehicle. Part of I guess what they call the welcome package. I really enjoy driving this car. And often find myself taking the longer route to get to where I am going just to get a little extra drive time in. The one major drawback and this isn't a big deal but more of a preference. I don't need or want that giant speedometer in the middle. I am trying to find an after market stereo head unit to replace the factory one...and this speedometer is making that all but impossible.

@@Skysdalimit247 I got it because I wanted the smallest all wheel drive mini for the snow. I would have gotten a 2door S. That being said, I'm currently in a loaner 2020 countryman S and it's so much more bulky and unfun compared to my paceman. I might end up checking out the Clubman S all4 or a 4door S and see how the 2020's ride. That is if I do need the extra space for our kid I'm expecting in 4weeks. Hopefully the 2020 clubman S all4 and cooper S ride better than this marshmallow that is the countryman.

I finally got a chance to drive a Paceman S, and have to say I didn't love it as much as I did the Countryman, but enjoyed it's agility so I am still in search of one. But I will say, I get what you mean regarding the Countryman, as the reason I didn't move forward with purchasing that car is it felt too bulky to drive, and that scared me (considering this would be my first car purchase and I live in NY). Unfortunately, I had to walk away from a Paceman I found last week, because the used car dealer jacked up the price with $5K of fees that had nothing to do with the car itself. In the mean time I will just keep looking for a Paceman within a decent price range. Congrats on the baby btw -- How Exciting! :)

The paceman is such a rare breed of car. A short wheelbase car in AWD and turbod is just rad. Too bad this one is plagued with the 1.6 pugeot engine that always, always has something wrong with it.

@Johngottisentme seems to be a recurring theme with previous owners. They don’t treat these cars like little British sports cars. They try and treat them like cheap economy cars and don’t take care of them.

Someone in my neighborhood has got a Paceman. I got a Clubman (R55) and was also pleasantly surprised like you with the automatic gearbox MINI uses.
IMO, the best looking Mini right off the shelve, especially the JCW version. Really hopes Mini will give a shot at it again with the latest JCW pack.

My first car was a 2013 paceman s with a manual transmission that I got in 2016. It was a great car.
The handling is tighter than a 911 or f12, i drove all of them and was blown away at the handling alone, not the power just the crisp handling.
