Hi - and this vid link here shows how to clean a square stone, like the Koda 12 has: ua-cam.com/video/FUZaChuTpS8/v-deo.html

Man I used to watch your videos years ago when I first got my Ooni Pro 16. Love seeing your continued passion for pizza!

Didn’t expect that. Brilliant idea. The Koda 16 has been difficult to keep the front clean. Never thought of putting it in sideways.

@@Got2EatPizza I will give it a go. I have been baking on one side as I had a disaster a while ago. People say it comes off when underneath are wrong in the main. I stay with 75% hydration but sometimes I go overboard wetting my hand and incorporating and probably gets close or over 80%. I need to not push topping amounts when using high hydration dough.

Excellent video. I think Koda 16 made it a bit hard to clean the stone due to the notch. The Koda 12 is so easy to flip. You have solved the problem of the notch, well done. Level of difficulty definitely more then stones without notch. 🙏💕🍷

Thank you and so agree - love the design idea but doesn’t help the cleaning process! 😂🔥🍕

Hmmm - I’ve got my butane gas burner for lighting the logs, wonder if that would work and how long it would take to burn off that little speck at the front …………🤔💭

Next time, just go over it with a brass wire wheel in a drill. You could even use a brillo pad with soap and water to scrub it off. Do you have a sand blaster? A sand blaster would clean that up in about 30 seconds. I'm joking about the sand blaster (that's an option I honestly would use though), but I think a brass wire wheel in a drill would easily scrub that clean without harming the stone. Great video nonetheless.

I wouldn't let water anywhere near the stone. You're liable to break the stone the next time you go to use it due to water getting trapped in the stone.

Agree - no water 💦 for that reason!! No Soap! 🧼 My family washed an old stone a few years ago and the stone still bubbled after loads of washes and was a ‘mare to get clean from the bubble soap and it’s taste stained into the stone - we got rid of the stone! 😂
