Hi and thanks for the video. I have a question if you could help me with. I have a Yaskawa CIMR-VCBA0012BAA to install with a submersible water pump and wondering if l could install a digital water pump control panel between inverter unit and the pump to make it simpler to operate the pump. Thanks for your time and help.

Hi There. Not sure i understood you question. You have yaskawa drive that is operating your pump or you would like to use the drive to operate it? And what do you mean by digital pump control?

Hi again and many thanks for the reply. I've purchased a 3 phase Pedrollo 4pd /4 submersible motor pump out underground water. What l didn't know was, the supply power was only single phase. For that reason l've then purchases the inverter unit in order to convert the power source to 3 phase. The motor now is operational but here is my problem :the unit is a bit complicated for my elderly parents who live on their own and it seems like they will have no clue how to deal with any issues might occur with the unit or operating the motor. For that reason, l am thinking that if a pump control panel can be installed in the line between inverter and the motor, could be much easier for them. That way they could follow set up timer, watch the water level... etc. However, what lm not sure is, if it's safe or correct thing to install the controller between the inverter and motor and how the inverter going to behave or is the inverter only designed to directly be connected to the motor?

@@herdemgermiyani6438 Inverter as it stands will control your motor, but all other controls must come from external source. The inverter has got an IO unit at the front and can be controlled externally. So if I understood you properly, you want the drive to come on at a certain time and stop at a certain level? If yes, for that you will need some sort of timer that will activate relay to send signal to start the drive and level switch to stop the drive. Quite bit extra wiring, but can be done.

@@IGSElectronics that's very kind of you and I indeed appreciate your help. Now l know it can be done. Again, many thanks and stay safe 👍
