I notice that 'The Watermen' (11:40) stars Jason Mewes, AKA Jay, of 'Jay and Silent Bob' fame.
He was right about the pirates movie. Here in the US it was called "Pirates, Band of Misfits."
A quick word about Queen stuff: Whilst Brian and Roger are still very much influencing most stuff about the band, there are still plenty of books and documentaries that don't gloss over the seedier side of their lives.
The recent Freddy Mercury one was pretty good
Also that documentary will almost certainly be unauthorised and therefore won’t have a single second of Queen or Freddie Mercury music.
@@Jayfive276 Yeah, that's the trade off for the meanwhile. At least there's enough stuff out there to be able to piece it all together. As I've mentioned, there are also some awesome books.
When they were in Berlin... **shiver**
I studied The Milk Of Sorrow at uni (we called it La Teta Asustada cause I did Spanish) and it is one of the most cryptic and depressing yet beautiful films I’ve ever seen
About time I need my fix of Mr Ashens!!!
I don't actually like watching these. But they're aimless enough that they're nice to fall asleep to.
The Dictator is surprisingly quite underrated. The advertising did not reveal all the best jokes which is rare and nice, but I think it made people get put off from seeing it thinking it was just raunchy sex jokes. The restaurant scene is particularly hilarious.
@C C borat is a mix of scripted and real reactions
This is the format of video I am very much looking forward to I probably going to be watch this about 3 times because I am a fan of Ashens.
The Watermen. Did they write the feemtoon and sing the feemtoon?
I get the suspicious feeling Ashens does NOT enjoy the Big Bang. My intuition is tingling and tells me so.
I would take it that he really hates the K-pop boy group BIGBANG then.
I got depressed when you put Freddie in the "never watch" pile. He's my dude! I want that dvd! I've never seen it and I can't find it anywhere!
It's probably on UA-cam
Yeah ashens banter about random DVDs hnmm yes i find this entertaining and relaxing, finally asmr i can enjoy. Lol 🙃
oh god, the Lorax. It is reponsible for the Oncelerpocaylpse on tumblr. when it was okay. people were making onceler OCs. and uh... making slash fics and such.
its as messed up as you imagine.
Any idea why everyone fixated on that thing so much?

That was weird. I didn't understand any of that.
How bad can it be?
Love his reaction to the big bang theory disc 😂 I'd of done the same.
You have no taste in good TV then
Is Ashens turning into a place to donate your used DVDs? Cause it certainly beats trading them in for £0.01 at CeX.
At least it would be if he hadn’t shut his PO Box.
HOLY SHIT ON A STICK! lmao that was a good one
Where can one buy lovefilms leftover stock?
Yes!!! These videos are so soothing for me 😍😍😍
TBH just you talking is the soothing thing about it, Stuart! Thank you!

I crave Polybius Heist news.
27 minutes of Ashens? My weekend isn’t over yet!
I think Top Cat was a foreign made film like Mexico or something as the original cartoon show is big over there. So a movie was made by them for they're market and all the jokes fall flatter than a flat thing from flatland. There was also a woody woodpecker movie that was equally awful, I think.
The Woody Woodpecker one was made in Brazil, starring recognizable Brazilian actors…strange.
The awesome part of your videos is the monolog. Keep it up! Love your work!!!
Thank you for treating the Big Bang Theory DVD the way it deserved
Dead mans shoes is still one of the best dark British films to date
