After many comments asking me to bring the series back, including one in a late night stream, i impulsively decided to look for a group doing Heroic Raszageth that I could go undercover in... the results were much better than I could've ever expected - hope you enjoy!

My brother was the RL and he told me about it, I never believed him until I saw the VOD, such a nice moment and something that he is very grateful for and couldn't stop talking about how crazy you are. Not just not knowing Max but finding 20+ where none of them knew who he was. Also the people from his chat that he brought in all went along with it. The fact that nobody spoiled this is amazing and will probably never be done again.

This game is 70-80% casuals who never do mythic dungeons and only do LFR or normal. And that's totally cool, the game should have room for that.
I have zero clue who this guy is but youtube recommended me this and I'm now watching this because there's so many positive comments. All I can figure out is that this guy is some kind of somewhat popular streamer, and this video so far is pretty great.
Im playing since 2007 and know like 2-3 streamers, some people just dont care about this stuff.
As someone who consumes a ton of wow content on youtube, so far, the Undercover Raid Leading content has been my all time favorite.

I love how the time he plays a alt and renames it to something totally random he is instantly recognized meanwhile when he goes into a group literally on his main that has "Max" in it nobody realizes who he is.

I was in this raid. I knew we had a couple CE tier raiders in the group just based off parses but I didn’t know it was liquid.
Didn’t find out until a guildie sent me this vid in discord.
I'm thinking, this video will age to perfection. This'll be one of those golden, wholesome classics that I'll look back on as a highlight of any of the previous expansions. It's own "world first" kill video in some sense. Something to get nostalgic over, many years in the future. You're making history, Max. This is a demonstration of how World of Warcraft brings people together, no matter it's age or the times it exists in. Sensational video, well done.
Series like this, with raids like this, just really restores your faith in the WoW community as a whole. Of course now, I have to look at all of my food labels.
It's these type of things that make the game so worthwhile. Their reactions at finally getting the boss down and the coaching was so awesome.
thats what got me raidleading for 7 years. its a struggle most of the time but the feeling to get a boss finally down makes up for it

Given what it can be like to game in 2023, with many negitive interactions and toxic gamers it's so easy to forget that happy and positive interactions and experiances like this still happen.
This is one of the best wow videos I've seen for a long time and it really embodies the good side of wow.

Max’s ability to play that well and still make all those calls is uncanny. My favorite part of all these under cover raid leading videos is how ecstatic the other players are after getting the kill.
Once you have done a boss enough times, your brain filters out everything unimportant and you can really just focus on pumping.
That’s why the first AOTC kill is always so intense and such a thrill, you really have to work for it and it’s hard work to stay focused.

35:48 This is an actual anime moment. If anyone made an anime with a sick raidleader that blew everyone's mind, this would be it. It's not JUST knowing the fight perfectly, managing every persons character and spells to the micro if needed, while doing the fight yourself. It's also just keeping the group, calm and focused. As soon as Max leads them, no one is fucking up anymore, that's not a coincedence. It's not just a raidleading skills on display it's great leader skills on display. Really cool

I haven't even killed heroic Raz yet and I already feel more educated about the fight watching this video. It was so nice. I feel so content afterwards. Couldn't stop smiling. Thanks so much man. And that group was beautiful. Being a raider who has to pug progressing, just getting 7/8 heroic has been painstaking at best.
Dude... awesome video... and props for you helping them out. They are going to connect the dots that the raid leader of Liquid helped them take down that boss... and it will be one of "those" moments that will be remembered fondly. Reminds me of the "old" days when the GMs would show up in the middle of content and either help out with advise or gave items to players.

Dude i fucking love this shit please keep doing this. I remember someone suggesting i watch this ages ago and i have been obsessed. you should consider doing something like this offline/off-stream and leading a fringe mythic team to full clear, i really think it would be so fucking sick and show just how valuable good raid leading is

I'm a pvper and the only times I took raiding seriously was Kara in TBC, ICC in WOTLK, SoO in MoP, and Antorus in Legion. I think it's a mix of guild politics, elitism, and repetitive bad raid weeks that kept me from enjoying it. I just stumbled upon this video and seeing how you, and the original raid leader interacting positively with a large amount of people over the course of several days, could turn a frustrating experience into a fun, memorable, experience, renewed my interest in giving raiding another try.

Have you thought about just putting a pug together and then raid leading while not giving away you are Max. You could just arrange someone to just speak for you (second to second).
Alternatively, you can get chat to vote on a random fact after each wipe and you have to try to convince the raid it's true/ important.

Your raid leading is impeccable. Hearing the difference between the first guy and you is like night and day. He is not doing bad, but you just seem to have a lock on everything from raid cooldowns to boss cooldowns to movement of specific people.
I lol'd so hard when country boy started listing off who he's in his guild with. Hopefully that's not his 'who he's slept with' list too. 🤣🤣 Jk

southern brother at the end in a family guild took the cake.
I used to get so frustrated in my earlier raiding years when my raid leader would come up with some bogus strategy that made absolutely no sense. Took a break in mop and when I came back I found a really cool guild that I did call-outs in and it was so much more enjoyable. A good raid leader or someone who has the ability to watch the room (I played a hunter) is such a better shot caller than the tank like most guilds use.
