Went there last year .the hotel is great .food very good . biggest problem is it's so far from the centre of player Blanc's .a good 45 min walk along the cost to the centre.

It is a long walk. We caught the bus though, that was easy and right outside the hotel.

I was here may 29 th - June 4th (7 days) and unfortunately the daisy van for kids that serves drinks and ice creams that is usually by the kids pool was broken and I saw it from the volleyball court and it looked pretty broken but with that it would be 5/5 for me

Is there any positives? It doesn’t sound like it.
I have booked for December and you are really putting me off. It sounds like a hotel without ample amenities, bad staff, poor food, lack of drinks, poor service and pools you can’t swim in.
Then again when Spanish staff can’t understand English or Spanish I start to get sceptical of the review. Plus all that negativity after two or three days in the third part of the review also makes me sceptical.
So I will go and see for myself as I’ve saw reviews like this before only to find the opposite is true. I will come back and add a comment whether it is good or bad.

I hope that you have a good holiday there. The review is honest from my perspective. As a family, we’ve never written negative holiday reviews before.
It should be a lot quieter in December, so should be a lot better.
Initial view of the hotel was wow, after a few days in you notice all of the issues and realise they’re not one off’s. The staff mainly do speak English, of course they all speak Spanish. I’m not sure where that’s come from? I think that some staff just were rude and ignored you, or pretended not to understand (this was the minority though). I’d say 90% of staff were great though. It’s the minority that stick in your mind.

@@doxydoxyscott8009 If you watch your video back you said that you used both English and Spanish to attempt to communicate with staff without satisfaction, that is why I mentioned it.
As for the negatives, to watch part three of your videos after two or three days at the hotel and see only negative comments on the hotel I can only assume that parts one and two contain more of the same. This is not a balanced review in my opinion, like you I have traveled all over the world and in turn have stayed in hotels that were not up to my standards. That said I have never stayed anywhere that does not have any positives at all. It comes across that you made up your mind rather quickly and I have to disagree with you stating at the beginning that your review was fair and balanced.
Being a seasoned traveler like yourself I research hotels before booking and this one has mostly very positive reviews that said with the usual people that pay £200 per couple a night for all inclusive and expect the Ritz in Paris for that money because it’s classed as 5 star.
Thanks for your kind words regarding our upcoming holiday we will enjoy it even if there is some of the negatives you state we always make the most of every holiday we go on we think that having a positive mindset helps us concentrate on the positive aspects and make the most of what we paid for. If we are disappointed we simply won’t return and vote with our cash withholding any tips we planned on giving.
