Many humanitarian organisations have tried to give aid to the people of Gaza (a place described by the UN as 'unlivable' 2 years ago) to hand over aid to any state/country you have to do it with the permission of and via the auspices of the democratically elected government of that state, in this case, unfortunately Hamas. The percentage has decreased over the years, and currently just under half of the city's residents are Christian (about 47%). So George hasn't been keeping up to date on these developments. However, the figures still don't support the point Loomer was trying to make.

The Gaza Strip is a _disputed_ territory and not under Israeli control from which Hamas, a prescribed terrorist organisation governs and operates. Hence why they can almost incessantly launch rockets from there into Israeli towns and cities, until the IDF retaliates to stop them for a while before they restart. Loomer wasn't incorrect. I really don't understand how people try to defend Israel and criticise the Palestinians. What defence is there for this indefensible situation? You have a place in Israel where a Russian, New Yorker or someone from Surrey has more right to live in because he/she is a Jew whereas the people that have inhabited this land for generation upon generation for over 3000 years are in exile and live as sub-humans? How can anyone justify that?
This is bad enough as it is that people somehow try to confuse the issue and try to justify Israel's actions and try to blame Palestinians for the problem. But what I find even more difficult to understand that how a group of people that have suffered so much and who know the sufferings of their ancestors during the holocaust can do such a thing to another group of human beings?
The Palestinians have been suffering for over 60 years. I cannot even begin to imagine not only the physical suffering but the deep mental hurt and pain of these people. I saw a video of the annual festival where Israeli's Jews celebrate their victory over Palestinians during the 1948 war and they literally walk through Palestinian areas to rub it in and these poor Palestinians have to restrain themselves. Just put yourself in the position of those Palestinians. Just try to imagine how painful it is to experience this. Its like the killer of your loved one laughing openly in your face knowing you cant do shit to him. Only even worse. I dont know what kind of human beings can do this to another human being without any empathy. The truth is I dont think Israeli Jews consider Palestinians to be even humans. Gaza is a territory that was annexed by Israel after the Arabs lost their war against the Jewish state in 1967 (Along with the West Bank). The people were cut off and not accepted by Egypt or Jordan, but have been used as political pawns against Israel and from where terrorist attacks have been fomented.
