Started smoking when I was 16. Enlisted in the Army and found that smoking was just about the only pleasurable thing you could do besides playing cards and writing letters. Drinking when you could get it was great too. Which is why smoking and drinking go so well together. We'd go out training and as we'd march here and there the drill sergeant and other leaders would decide we should stop so they could BS. They'd say "at ease, smoke em if you got em". So we always did. Sometimes they'd stop every 15 minutes. Talk about creating a habit.
The old man reminds me so much of my father...if he had reached that age, instead of passing away at 42. He too had girls coming up to him, at community functions, wanting to dance. His specialty was buck dancing and it was hard to keep up with him, always with a smile on his face....
In the 70s a man picked up a hitchhiker in Nevada turns out it was Howard Hughes he left the man a million dollars And the Hughes family took it to court to protest it I don't know the outcome but I lived down the street from his gas station in Utah and seen all the News media there
A big reason why smoking is losing popularity is the cost. When I was a teenager you could get a pack of Marlborough cigarettes for.75 cents and the place I work they sell for $8.50 a pack. To quote the Blues Brothers, with his voice and storytelling, he can sing country and western. I love this song.
You don't want to go inside my uncle Jack's mobile home OMG you can hardly breathe inside his mobile home it's smells like cigarette smoke, I do not like going inside his home, I remember going in someone's home a long time ago and it smell like pure cat piss you could hardly breathe
I'm 64 I remember you could smoke anywhere from hospitals to airplanes
A great song by Billy is Walk a Little Straighter. Pulls at the heart strings.
I graduated in 1975 and there was a smoking area on the tennis courts for the STUDENTS!😅
God IS Great, Beer IS Good, and...People ARE Crazy. Peace, Love!!
Such a wholesome sweet tune. Played it a lot during my drinking years 😊. I love the tone of Billy's voice
Good Directions is another story song from him that's great! ❤ I love it too! ❤

Written by Bobby Braddock who cowrote “He stopped Loving Her Today” and “I Wanna Talk About Me”

Here's a good life lesson:
Buy a stranger a beer and just have a conversation....... you'll be SUPERSIZED at what happens next.
I graduated high school in 1973. We had a smoking area outside. And stores permitted teens to buy cigarettes.
Having a smoking and non-smoking section in a restaurant is like having a peeing and non-peeing section in a pool.
Best comment! Funny too!
Lol and I smoke but try to be respectful about it around non smokers!
True but at least the water is a little warmer
People will vape in your face then have the nerve to talk about how bad smoking is.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

You should be nice to us smokers.. we don't have long to live
Self-inflicted though... People are crazy.
Blood is thicker than water until the blood takes advantage of other blood. Then the blood becomes watered down.
The old man give the money to him. He barely knew him
Great reaction to a great song. Pretty sure it is just trying to make a point.

The story is, the old millionaire left his money to the guy telling the story. God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.
Then billy gets arrested for battery on an elder in real life after this song. Still a great song. I like “wanna be a hillbilly” is my favorite of his
What Is this a PSA ?
Play Bryan Adams this time
It's just a song

It's their channel! Don't like it don't watch it!
Just react to the song. No one cares about your other commentary.
It's their "reaction" channel! Move along if you don't like it!
