Thank you for this guide! I've done about 40 raids and just found out about this lol. Game changer! where is the setting for the shift click through his shadow?
The only real issue with blowpiping it is you have to break the butterfly cycle. But in some invocations you basically have to do this otherwise you wont kill the shadow in time before the explosion. If you dont want to break the butterfly cycle though, what you can do is DPS skip. There's a way to completely skip the explosion attack. I'm thinking of making a video on this actually because it is useful in higher invocations!
is it normal that akkha keep using orbs special and sometimes switch combat style even if he never touch me?. im using shadow, i click next tile as far as i get there, he never attack me with melee but still that happens
Yeah.. unfortunately he will sometimes just swap combat styles and spawn the orbs even if you are doing it perfectly. As long as you stay in the cycle though you won't get hit by any of the orbs.
Hey, sorry for the late reply, you download the Radius Markers plugin from the plugin hub, and then import these markers: [{"id":1678615716520,"name":"Akkha Melee","visible":true,"collapsed":false,"z":0,"spawnX":3552,"spawnY":5161,"spawnColour":"#FF00FFFF","spawnVisible":false,"wanderRadius":5,"wanderColour":"#FFFFFF00","wanderVisible":false,"maxRadius":7,"maxColour":"#FFFF00FF","maxVisible":false,"aggressionColour":"#FFFF0000","aggressionVisible":false,"retreatInteractionColour":"#FF0000FF","retreatInteractionVisible":false,"npcId":11790,"attackRadius":1,"attackColour":"#A55F0000","attackType":"MELEE","attackVisible":true,"huntRadius":1,"huntColour":"#FFFF7F00","huntVisible":false,"interactionRadius":1,"interactionColour":"#FF00C800","interactionVisible":false},{"id":1678615833074,"name":"Akkha Range","visible":true,"collapsed":false,"z":0,"spawnX":3552,"spawnY":5161,"spawnColour":"#FF00FFFF","spawnVisible":false,"wanderRadius":5,"wanderColour":"#FFFFFF00","wanderVisible":false,"maxRadius":7,"maxColour":"#FFFF00FF","maxVisible":false,"aggressionColour":"#FFFF0000","aggressionVisible":false,"retreatInteractionColour":"#FF0000FF","retreatInteractionVisible":false,"npcId":11791,"attackRadius":1,"attackColour":"#820A8000","attackType":"RANGED","attackVisible":true,"huntRadius":1,"huntColour":"#FFFF7F00","huntVisible":false,"interactionRadius":1,"interactionColour":"#FF00C800","interactionVisible":false},{"id":1678615871679,"name":"Akkha Ranged","visible":true,"collapsed":false,"z":0,"spawnX":3552,"spawnY":5161,"spawnColour":"#FF00FFFF","spawnVisible":false,"wanderRadius":5,"wanderColour":"#FFFFFF00","wanderVisible":false,"maxRadius":7,"maxColour":"#FFFF00FF","maxVisible":false,"aggressionColour":"#FFFF0000","aggressionVisible":false,"retreatInteractionColour":"#FF0000FF","retreatInteractionVisible":false,"npcId":11792,"attackRadius":1,"attackColour":"#9800008D","attackType":"MAGIC","attackVisible":true,"huntRadius":1,"huntColour":"#FFFF7F00","huntVisible":false,"interactionRadius":1,"interactionColour":"#FF00C800","interactionVisible":false}]
Usually if you just start doing the cycle he will fall into place. If you need any extra help though can hop in game sometime and see how you do it and try to help
The misclicks will be fixed over time as your muscle memory gets better. I still missclick a few times a raid hahaha. About the special orbs though, you need to be clicking perfectly to not get hit, if you stand at one tile for a tick too long or click too fast you can get demolished very easily. I would stop butterflying when the orb special happens until you are more confident at it for sure, but once you can do it you don’t have to stop the method when the special happens as if you are doing it correctly you will never get hit. If you need some in game help can always hop in a raid sometime and help you out, just let me know!
Hey, thanks for commenting! For the adjacent quadrant it's very similar. You keep butterflying but when you reach the tile pairs that are touching, you swap focus to the shadow, and then run to the far single tile of the other quadrant!
@@Mxeaez so if youre on the first tile of the east to west touching double tiles (or vice versa) you attack shadow move 1 tile over into next quadrant and then click on the furthest single tile? wouldnt you be attacking out of cycle at that point? (since you attack on the single tiles rather than the doubles)
@@maxbosch8128 Actually you are 100% correct. I'm not sure what I was on when I was commenting before haha. Thanks for fact checking me! What you do is attack on the single tile, run to the last tile in the double tile in the quadrant you are swapping to. You then have to wait until Akkha's true tile is one tile away from you and then click to the first tile in the double tile, wait until Akkha is one tile away again, and then you can continue butterflying like normal. Hopefully that makes sense, it's a bit hard to explain over text but I can always show anyone in game or maybe make a short video on swapping quadrants!
Im curious running with trident during shadows without switching to bowfa ill catch dps check every time. Does running in cycle do the “skip” like if in the corner or just gotta eat em ?
@@LoewenKP90 yeah.. without shadow you do get dps checked quite a lot. you can line up the butterfly to skip it but from what I’ve seen that’s more just getting lucky if that happens. What you can do to avoid all damage though is if you know you are about to get dps checked, run around the map to a different shadow, and while akkha is walking over to you, do the dps skip over there. Then run back around the room back to where you were and continue butterflying. Hopefully that makes sense, if not can try to help you out more!
By change do you mean swap attack styles? They changed it a few months back so that even if you are butterflying perfectly there's still a chance that he will swap attack styles when he does a special attack, but if you are lucky you can still butterfly for like 85% of the kill :)
There should be a 4-tick butterfly in the tile packs. Use that. Doing 5-tick butterfly with a 4-tick weapon like trident is pointless. Just let akkha hit you a few times and switch to melee/ranged. As long as you have good melee/ranged weapon you'll kill the boss faster and thus use less supplies making up for the damage akkha caused.
Interesting, I don't remember seeing 4-tick butterfly method when I searched for it in the past. That's super cool to know though, definitely going to start practicing that one as well. Thanks!
