Wallace, Drew, and Josh- a combination you only see once or twice in a lifetime. Thank you for leaving this videos app. You guys and Wallace are still an incredible inspiration to me.
Why do I feel like I just lost a dog that I knew a long time? The video goes from proud memories to remember, whether u knew the dog or not, but it is by 5:00 when it hit me like "Damn...his story is over. It is really over. A life worth living, though, no?" It is very touching. RIP Wallace!
WOW!!!!!! Roo my name is David Gray, Fred at Pit Bulletin Legal News Network contacted me about making the "Wallace Award" Video. I was the guy that made the video for them. I have worked in sports television productions as a tape operator and editor for 20 years...YOU KILLED IT ON THIS VIDEO, GREAT EDIT!!!!!!! My wife and I have been inspired by not only Wallace's achievements but the example and hard work that you and Clara have shown. Thank you for EVERYTHING that you and Wallace did in changing perceptions about the Pit Bull breed...and thanks for the AWESOME video!
beautiful tribute .. what a doll.. loved the scene at the end in the misty field where Wallace was looking up at Daddy and Daddy was rubbing his head .. brought me to tears .. how sweet !! Sleep well little friend
A sweet joyful dog. Thank you for giving him such a wonderful life, Every dog deserves to have that much fun and love. So many potential best friends get euthanized at shelters … breaks my heart.
The Animal Rescue Site shared a video of Wallace's 11th birthday and the huge box of toys he received. As I always do, I clicked on the UA-cam source and that ultimately brought me here. So sad he lost his battle with cancer but so happy he found such joy after being rescued from the shelter. I've shared this video back to Facebook so others can see what a great dog he was and what a great person took him into his life.
I have a 15-16 year old pit bull like this. She’s still up for frisbee multiple times a day. She will bug me until I play. She can’t dart across the yard and catch it in the air too well these days, but she will run across the yard and wait until I throw it, and she catches it more than half of the time. She’s absolutely amazing, and cannot believe she’s still going strong!
To the editor of the video kudos - awesome job mixing the tempo of the music to the actual action in the video - stupendous (love the mini dance by roo especially)
I loved the book Roo. I think Wallace was bigger than Lassie, and braver than Rin Tin Tin. I liked the way all of you stood together for Wallace, in the book. He became a wonderful dog.I just donated to the "Wallace the pit bull foundation" because of what you did and continue to do for the big furry hearts with four legs, pit bulls.
I just read your book and finally thought of looking at the you tube videos. Both are amazing and what a wonderful dog and beautiful story. Wallace, may you rest in peace in doggie heaven.
Wimp.com recently posted the video of Wallaces 11th birthday with all the toys, and while it takes a lot to get me choked up, it did the trick. I can tell just by looking at him though, he was a happy, happy dog who had very loving owners. I'm sorry for your loss.
Such a happy family and life!!! Wallace and family rock for doing so much for the breed. Tears of happiness flowing :) Thank you for this beautiful video celebrating his life!!!
i had to watch it twice.....i lost my schnauzer to cancer on 5MAR18....he fell 29 days short of turning 10 and 59 days of us being together 10 years.....RIP to all who fell short early and are waiting for us on the other side of THE RAINBOW BRIDGE....
I'm so sad Wallace died of cancer..But all of us and Andrew will always have a spot in our heart for Wallace😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧🤧😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😭😭😭😭😭😭😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣😣💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💞💕
Wallace had some wicked Frisbee catches, but his Daddy was the one who set him up just right - distance and height. That took talent - a TEAM effort. I'm sure the family is missing Wallace and while he can never EVER be replaced, it wouldn't be right to not give another pup a chance with THAT DADDY. I hope you are all doing well, over these holidaZe - the first without this boy, and hope me saying this wasn't offensive, because that's certainly NOT my intention. No one who is loved is ever really gone . . .
Fantastic! Thank you all and most of all Thank you Wallace!! Sad I didn't come across his story sooner (very pleased to see it now) RIP talented handsome lucky boy!! Thank you again from my pack and I :-)
I am sorry for you're loss, Wallace was an amazing dog he was fantastic when he caught those Frisbees!! May his soul live on forever in peoples hearts~!! GOD BLESS HIM and the loved ones he left behind!!
I would say in the end his life was SIMPLY AWESOME AND INSPIRING TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To those who were a part of his readjustment..... WE THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bless his soul. You showed him the love and the time he needed - you are a great owner and I was so amazed by your teamwork and passion. Thank you for being such a great person
Whoa! Respect to Wallace but mostly for his owners who knew how to love a dog. Will be putting my mother-inlaw's dog down tomorrow. So sad, but he was rescued from a shelter 10 years ago a few days before being euthanized. He loved ripping stuff toys apart too!
Just finished the book! It is a great story. Thanks for all of the work you put into these videos! best of luck with your future disc career if there is one!
Nobody thought a Whippet could do it, but Ashley proved them wrong, same with with this dog but he proved them wrong again. Saw both of them and it was incredible. Rest in peace. SJ
i used to watch the videos of this dog back in 2007. cant believe hes dead. this is the first time i tried googling him in at least 5yrs. what a bummer
so sad, and he passed on my birthday, RIP Wallace A Dog’s Plea Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me. Do not break my spirit with a stick, for although I should lick your hand between blows, your patience and understanding will quickly teach me the things you would have me learn. Speak to me often, for your voice is the world’s sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footsteps falls upon my waiting ear. Please take me inside when it is cold and wet, for I am a domesticated animal, no longer accustomed to bitter elements. I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth. Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst. Feed me clean food that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger. And, my friend, when I am very old, and I no longer enjoy good health, hearing and sight, do not make heroic efforts to keep me going. I am not having any fun. Please see that my trusting life is taken gently. I shall leave this earth knowing with the last breath I draw that my fate was always safest in your hands. Author Unknown

ThisbeandPyramus i know it's been months since u put this comment but him being shockingly young is not really accurate i had a pit bull and a friend of mine has 3 and they live to be around 12 he was 11 so it wasn't too far off the "average life expectancy" but as a dog lover it is young and such an amazing puppy i love that breed that and Huskies are my fav. as well i pretty much grew up with them :)
Pitties who are to be euthanised and got Saved turn out to be great dogs, maybe the shelters should be a little bit more carefull with labeling a dog and give them a chance with the "good" people he was a great dog, hope you found another one who you can love
Wallace, Drew, and Josh- a combination you only see once or twice in a lifetime.

Still think of Wallace often. I wanted to hear this song, but it was not the same without seeing Wallace. So I am here again, admiring Wallace.

This is so touching and so sweet. I cried like a little baby the entire time. You were an incredible ambassador for pit bulls. RIP handsome boy!
A sweet joyful dog. Thank you for giving him such a wonderful life, Every dog deserves to have that much fun and love. So many potential best friends get euthanized at shelters … breaks my heart.
Dang, I still miss him. Wallace, they broke the mold when you were made.
When did “damn” become “dang?”💁
