I kind of like the concept of unearthing an archeological site with a gigantic excavator usually used for mining, instead of the little brushes and scraping tools archeologists typically use. I imagine they just sift through the rubble in the buckets and say things like "there seems to be ancient paint on this fragment of rock, we probably just smashed through some ancient walls with intricate mozaics. Awesome!"
Very nice! As a kid I always just placed some pyramids, a sphynx and a small oasis in this park. It was fun to see that you added a lot more than that but that those things are still in there! Loving the series so far :)
This is my new favorite series on the channel. Excited to see the campaign done in a nice way. I always try to beat them with as realistic a looking park as possible but damn its hard without the cheats haha
Huh, didn't realise Pacific Pyramids and Southern Sands use the same map as Dynamite Dunes... the similarities certainly are there when I look at them now...
My favorite (And first!) Scenario. I can remember playing this scenario over and over when I got computer access during computer lab time, or finally playing it at home when I got the game for my birthday. Thanks for the nostalgia trip!
one question though, at 16:00 you freeze the security guards in place, you did this in forest frontier as well and I know theres an option to freeze staf in OpenRCT2, but how do you freeze individual staff?
5:15 Eh, It's not 'cheating' it's a 'creative interpretation of the rules'! I'd say as long as the outside-of-original remodeling is kept to a minimum, it's fair game. If anything, I feel that altering the terrain on the inside is way more of a betrayal to the spirit of the series.
For some extra watchtime on the channel, you could add full on-ride videos (through window) of every ride in the park. Every park only has a few rides so it would not be too big but add some excitement and watchtime to help boost the channel?
Is this the idea of Heinrich Schliemann's version of theme park? The name and the concept seems to be amazingly appropriate for this. EDIT: For those who wonder, that is the name of the "archaeologist" who "excavate" Troy with DYNAMITES in 1870
i always wondering how u guys can make all this amazing looking mechanism... like that rotating bucket wheel of the excavator, can anyone make some tutorial videos on those
ok I lied, i got many questions. Do you have a video that explains how you make these custom rides? Theyre so sick. I love the oasis water ride but I've no idea how or why youre doing it lol
can someone tell me how he got all scenery unlocked for these scenarios? I really want to experiment with using more scenery on these scenarios. I have Open RCT 2
Pretty nice one mate. I really like this serie, keep on that :)) but (just saying, nothing wrong) i dont know why every RMC (in game and irl) picks intense colours :/ i think it dont work that good, also the long flume layout (for me) seems quite simple. If i had ur skills i would have add some tunnels or something more in the track, but like i said, everything in the park its insane :) ~srry for my bad english and grettings from spain~
While that first drop on the RMC looks cool, it's not something that would ever be built. RMC's are built entirely around negative and lateral Gs, not bone-crushing positive G moments
For me it's important that it looks cool, and I don't consider it outside of the realm of possibilities that they will ever build something like this :)

For sure it's a lot faster ;)
"At Dynamite Dunes, artifacts are strewn..."
That excavator is so unbelievably convincing. Incredible stuff
Thanks!
This series is great! Cannot wait to see what you do with Leafy Lake and Trinity Islands!
Really inspiring stuff! Love the new take on Dynamite Blaster, those outward banked sections look so good with the RMC track
Those outward banks also give it that kind of out of control mine train feel as well!

it's calming to watch you decorate the parks in unique ways--love the little town with the shops and the plaza!
This is my new favorite series on the channel. Excited to see the campaign done in a nice way. I always try to beat them with as realistic a looking park as possible but damn its hard without the cheats haha
I adore this series, damn
Glad you like it!
i love this series. your parks are so nice and I'm learning a lot
Huh, didn't realise Pacific Pyramids and Southern Sands use the same map as Dynamite Dunes... the similarities certainly are there when I look at them now...

easily my favorite scenario from rct1, and so far my favorite recreation by you. Love this series!
Thanks, glad you enjoy it!
This is fantastic! Looking forward to Leafy Lake.
Wasn't Leafy Lake the original home of the round earth society? ;) Loved this one!
one question though, at 16:00 you freeze the security guards in place, you did this in forest frontier as well and I know theres an option to freeze staf in OpenRCT2, but how do you freeze individual staff?
The easy way to do it these days is by using the peep editor plugin!
22:16 totally missed that epic award!
this series is brilliant dude! cant wait to see evergreen gardens haha
It hurt my soul just a bit to see you demolish the OG Dynamite Blaster.
You can expect more of that in upcoming videos ;)
"Crashing might actually fit the theme of being a dynamite blaster" lmfao
5:15 Eh, It's not 'cheating' it's a 'creative interpretation of the rules'!

Hey everyone
Hey Nick!
Waddup Nick!
Hey Nick.
Really really loving this video series and hope to see more!!
Thanks, next one in the list is Diamond Heights!
Looks awesome just from the preview image
Egyptian is def one of the best looking and most fun themes
I am a bit behind, but it really is a cool series!
Thanks, glad you enjoy it!
Wow, looks great!
This is brilliant!

Good idea!
Geweldige serie dit, ik hoop dat je alle rct1 parken gaat doen 😄!

This one is awesome! It would be cool to watch you do a park with a more realistic number of rides in it, rather than just 3 or 4.
I would always put some brakes right before the return into the station after enough train crashes with Dynamite Blaster.
The problem with that is that brakes simply stop working in case of a station brake failure!
wait how do they get into the log ride if that rotating part is in the way? really cool, I want to try...
Some log flume rides have a rotating station platform, that's what I tried to emulate here!
great park!
i always wondering how u guys can make all this amazing looking mechanism... like that rotating bucket wheel of the excavator, can anyone make some tutorial videos on those
The bucket is just a ferris wheel with the supports and base hidden using an editing tool
This is beautiful! Too bad I can’t download RCT2 to my iMac and play like you can 😔 nice work 🙏🏼👍🏼
Get a virtual machine software like vm box running windows and you can!
amazing
ok I lied, i got many questions. Do you have a video that explains how you make these custom rides? Theyre so sick. I love the oasis water ride but I've no idea how or why youre doing it lol
can someone tell me how he got all scenery unlocked for these scenarios? I really want to experiment with using more scenery on these scenarios. I have Open RCT 2
in the cheat menu you can find the object selection, there you can select everything you need
I rallye like your work! For my part it would be nicer if you kept the original coasters. Keep it up

~srry for my bad english and grettings from spain~
also im hype and asking if u will keep going with the rct2 parks aswell(?)
I will start working on Leafy Lake soon!
So is this RCT1 with mods, or a newer RCT, on the old map? Wondering how you get all the round shapes to path’s and such. Looks clean
This is the RCT1 scenarios, but played in the game OpenRCT2
I like your videos but I would like to suggest that when you are showing details you zoom in closer to show them.
Otherwise, you do some good work.
Dude rmcd dynamite blaster
Not a fan of the wooden trains on the red but ok

Cheating??? Nah, especially if you’re just doing cosmetic upgrades outside
Rmc
