@@DRENIC10 I mean like they literally put the console combat to mobile. Weapon switching, normal and launch attack, you can use the range attack as well, you know. Many various combos you can do, efforts to keep the demons stay airborne, more flexibility.

Also the other guy said it was Payline but with Roulette's animation, but it follows a different flight path(more like helmbreaker as you said) and I don't remember Payline being multihit so in every way possible it is not Payline.

Honestly, I've never been so disappointed with a mobile game, mainly because I've been a fan of the franchise for a long time.
I hope you guys release the game for more devices.
You can probably still play it, you'd have to download an APK and allow unknown sources to install APK files. I did this with Ever Crisis and I'm able to keep up with updates.

New or old combat this is still a dmc game and better than 95% of mobile games and i can't wait to play it, free game with these graphics and combat with a full campaign mode and different challenges + multiplayer (co-op and pvp)
@@istandidol I mean nothing wrong with that combat system. Still allows for combo potential and synergy (which becomes a requirement for high level play in both of the games you referenced)

Graphics are surprisingly good for a mobile game. Sounds+music, monsters, some design choices sparks nostalgy... But thats it. Combat is really simple (Dante cant even shoot😓), lip-sync is terrible, sometimes is sound missing completely, f2p factor is all over the place, and commercials and menus are visible and obstructing huge portion of display even during story missions.

This game honestly just kinda looks batshit insane and not in a good way. The story seems to be a mishmash of different memorable moments throughout the series without the understanding of what made them so great (like randomly having old designs WHILE ALSO SOMEHOW HAVING NERO IN THE GAME or ripping scenes or bosses from different games and just plopping them down into this hodgepodge of a timeline), animations look stiff as hell, music is REALLY HIT OR MISS, gameplay is just dumbed down DMC without any depth and only the "cool" factor intact (although the stiff animations make even that point questionable) and just generally speaking the game looks weird and clunky. Now, before anyone gets on my case about how "It's just a mobile game dude" - games like Honkai Star Rail, Punishing Gray Raven or Wuthering Waves and so on are living proof that nowadays being a mobile game is no longer an excuse, you can build a quality game with great combat, story, characters, music etc. even if it's based on an existing IP on a mobile device and even make it good enough for a PC or Console release, you just have to put some creativity and effort into it.
Now, for the sake of fairness, I have to admit that I haven't played the game myself yet and I've only seen trailers and EXTENSIVE AMOUNTS of old beta gameplay so I have to try it out myself just for completion's sake AND as a long-time Devil May Cry fan but I'll be real - everything I've seen so far doesn't exactly inspire hope. I'D LOVE to be proven wrong when I play it tomorrow but I doubt I will be... Still, I guess it's at least SOMETHING new DMC related.
EDIT: Ok, after almost a full day of playing the game, I can now say with 100% confidence... the game is an absolute pile of garbage. It's just a really bad Honkai Impact 3rd clone (which ironically enough was originally just a bad mishmash of other action games as well). Any potential it MIGHT'VE had is just gone. The story, gameplay depth, gearing, voice acting, sound mixing and design etc are all horrendous. If you have any respect for yourself I urge you not to even give this game any time of your day.

Sucks that the finalized version they went with is far different than the old beta version of the game. And the fact it's a mobile gacha, locking 3 different version of Vergil including Dante is a punch in a gut... makes me laugh ironically

P.S. the fact that the Rebellion looks more like it in the beta compare of the "victory blade" and you can shoot your guns in the beta... what a waste of cutting it off
Actually, they lock the "Rebellion" via weapon skin for his "Victory Blade". Same goes for Lady's SMG, Nero's "Red Queen" via skin, and Forced Edge. Which comes to mind, there are DMC1 and DMC2 Dante costume or skins in the previous beta. But for "mobile live service", yeah... who knows where they go now... spend that money and get a terrible gacha rate regardless
The more i realize as i play the game myself awhile back, Nero (Free, purple Epic gacha grade) plays almost like the previous beta Dante of old POC combat system but being simplified with his Streak is dodge+attack, and can use his gun... unlike *ahem* Dante. Is it to soften the wound on what they've done or something? Meh... it's kinda not enough, if i'm being brutal about it.
The fact that the battles is artificially increased in difficulty, even you got floored when the game said "Highly Difficult for you" and your characters under-levelled just goes to show. Doesn't help that each battles also timed, which is not helping other than add another artificial pressure (is what i feel) when compare to other DMC games. But at this point, changing things back is not possible i imagine.
I swear i'm also not feel motivated when i got to try Vergil (Devil Crusher) for a bit in that one fight against Phantom and realized "he's locked behind the paywall"

1 attack button, 1 jump, 1 dodge button, 1 shoot button, 1 awakening, 1 air shooting animation, 1 air skill animation, 1 basic air basic attack, and ult.

I’d add Lucia into that lot as well, have her use her swords, give us Vendetta as a heavy weapon for Lucia, and bring back the customizable DT for her. Trish would replace Sparda with Alastor or cavalier’s sword, with its lance for being an additional move set, she should have a proper DT, even if it’s drawing from Alaster’s power. You know what, give her Ifrit and Nightmare-B as well, Lady would be streamlined to be better to play, and she’d have more guns in her arsenal

There was a great mobile game: dmc:peak of combat version 1.0, it had problems, but still gave DMC experience. But now we have it released... In version 2.0, that ruined all. The movset is divided between the battlesuits. Awful energy system. Combat become more simple and boring. But, together we can bring all back. As a fan playing dmc when it first came out I can actually say ya did an amazing job with the game of course I play with my ps5 controller 😅 but overall game is amazing makes me more eager to see if they will make another dmc for console 🥲(hopefully something like this )🤞🏽

Dmc4 Nero design is honestly so amazing. I loved his susanoo his arm his sword system with rev. And now Nero gets new animation it’s the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. Like fr dmc5 Nero cannot impact me as much as dmc4. The cutscenes in dmc4 are more memorable than dmc5 the only cutscenes ppl really talk bout in 5 is Vergil scenes cuz honestly they did Vergil justice in 5. BURY THE LIGHT gang😅

Combat too downplay and uninspiring compare to previous betas, Dante cannot use his pistols or shotgun in combat which is a bad joke no. 1, there is literally nothing to do in the game like to grind currency for summon and the currency gain for summon from dailies or weekly is too low and summon cost is high, F.O.M.O. (Fear of missing out) is plaguing your game... missed out on Vergil, and that's it... he won't come back again which is a retarded game design with a series that have a relatively small cast unless you put him in the regular summons tab and the currently Devil Bringer Nero, Fist of Salvation Dante when people are missing out (not counting the "skins" or different version of characters that you decide to implement for your predatory microtransaction), weapon and character skins (which i can let it slide since it adds variety but that means your predatory microtransaction wear it's ugly head show up, and locking the signature rebellion model via "skin" is a bad joke no. 2... and if you would also lock DMC1 and DMC2 Dante skin behind paywall... a bad joke no. 3)
So far, your DMC mobile game is barely impressive and your money micro-transaction practice is so terrible like demanding player to spend their money to get anywhere in your game... it's turning into an ironic joke. Years waiting for this game since it's reveal (CN) and this is what we are about to get for Global... yeah... your game is about to set into failure.

Стрельба с пистолетов Данте Эбони и Айвори.
Неро использует меч "Красная королева" - очень сильная доработанная версия «Дюрандаля» который мог заряжать акселератором в бою или до начала боя.
Вергилий имел ряд комбо с точечными ударами по противникам и большое обилие комбо, но половина из них была вырезана.
Леди имела ряд комбинаций под свой стиль игры который тоже был вырезан...
Просим вас верните старую боёвку в игре (+ НОРМАЛЬНЫЕ СЕРВЕРА ПОСТАВЬТЕ УЖЕ)
