I like this one! A different take on something like Cascadia but with more flexibility in both tile placement and scoring opportunities. Thank you guys for showcasing it!
Was wondering where this was when you guys covered Wondrous Creatures and seeing this video pop up made my day! Your Wondrous Creatures playthrough made me want to purchase it and I’m very glad I did because my friends and I love it 😍
I think this game looks great. It reminds me of Calico, but with the seashell economy it presents a lot more flexibility. The theme doesn’t hurt either as I am a sucker for aquatic settings.
@Flip5ide Oh man I’m sorry if you deal with that - not what my question is about though. When you’re meant to make a random draw, but the tokens have unique shapes or sizes it’s off-putting. Just my personal preference. Cascadia solved this by putting all the unique animals on discs of the same shape and size. I really love the unique fish meeples, it’s honestly the biggest appeal for me and likely others I’m sure. So I just wanted to know if Naveen could even tell the difference when pulling from the bag or if it was generally unnoticeable. Hope that makes sense!
Directly? Nah. but its within that real of Calico, Cascadia, Harmonies. If you think one of those games is fine then I don't really see a reason to buy this if you own a tile laying game. If you happen to own all 3 because you really quite like those games, then its imo an easy buy based on the rulebook.
Monique! You missed 1 yellow fish in the bottom right bubble while scoring! You should have got 2 points more. Great play through as usual. Thanks!
Sounds like a lot of influence form Calico, Cascadia, and Verdant put together with a fish theme.
This channel is basically How to Play games coming out in the next year
This game looks like one I'm going to love so much! Great explanation and video as always!

17:08 missed opportunity to say "don't shell yourself short" 😂

Excellent! Thanks. Looks like my kind of game.
46:10 Monique missed a fish (yellow on the right), so 17 points for fish. So 169 total for Monique.
Cascadia with extra fish.

@21:52 you done the top right. that need two same fish on the same row. You have two red.
edit: you found it around 24:00 :)
Yup! haha
I like this one
Nice game.
Thanks for watching!
Does the fact that the fish are different shapes influence the bag draws? It’s the only thing holding me back right now.
I guess only off you have cheats in your group.

@@peteremedyI get you.
I'd say from the looks of it they are so close in shape it won't matter.
Can you compare this with cascadia? I really wanna hear your opinion.

Again, very questionable tactical choices by Naveen, especially for the sealife tiles. Sorry man.
