At 5:45 the picture shows oil pressure on the bottom and oil sump on top. If the fly weights move inward - underspeed- the pilot valve moves down, which means the oil pressure line would need to be exposed to the hub for more oil = more RPM. You have pictured this backward like the piper arrow.

It'd be helpful if you drew on the system to explain how it worked or use some sort of pointing mechanism.

I'm hoping someone can explain this I always see that oil pressure increases angle on non turbo props and non feathering
But oil pressure pushes to low AOA on turbo prop and feathering is this true?
Also if you have and overspeed it's supposed to increase AOA in order to slow the engine how does this work if a over speed /oil pressure drives to low AOA on turbo props?

    It's a feathering prop

What happen if you move the prop lever to feather position on ground with the engine off!?

Nothing will happen since the engine is off thus no engine oil is driven inside the prop system to move it to the feather postition.

Great video! Just an FYI, it’s “RPM” not RPMs which would be “revolutions per minutes”

Yea but who is going to start saying "How many R'sPM?" instead of "How many RPM's?" hahaha nice try though.

@@torbinator9729 that’s the best part, RPM already means “Revolutions per minute”
Just like you don’t have to say ATM machine, ATM already means automatic teller machine. 😂
