i paint and trim the tracks the lazy way. i have a solo train i ride, give it a route, then i just hold the button as i ride the train lol lazy way of clearing trees and such out of the way too lol
I have played TF for years but I have never got to grips with huge sorting goods stations like you experts build. Could I ask you to make a series on how to…things like how to connect all the cities, all the goods sorting from central points then back out etc? Love your humour and narration!
you mean a goods hub? He built a really good one back in tpf1 I think it was called Mainline series. It's basically the same concept in 2, other than nowadays you only get two resources per city rather than the full 5 resources that they need/want/desire to be supplied with.
Short version: -build a massive station, so 6-8 tracks. -Connect lines to it, with trains bringing in goods and trains taking out goods. -goods can swap lines as long as it connects to its end goal. So you can have a train drop off a ton of stone and another train will come along and pick it up as long as it will be dropped off at a construction material factory down the line. -Add trucks to deliver any dropped-off goods from a station to the factory, or city that needs it.
Yes I had discovered that little tidbit myself ... a simple bus to train station from middle of town seems to boost travelers exponentially ??? no one wants to walk a couple of blocks lol.
Jenny Agutter... Ah yes. Her in Logan's Run and the TV show Charlies Angels happened about the same time. It was a VERY good time to be a 13 year old boy.
Or as Jingles put it: "Mos Eisley spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." - he's obviously never been to Portsmouth!
'Ouuh! should I do this ..?' 'Ohh! should I do that ..?' Awwhh! We wanted to see it (Of course). ;o) And now Barry Turnups looms on the horyision .. Yey! (More your Honor Blackman/Shirley Eaton, Diana Rigg/ Eleanor Bron, even Joanna Lumpey here, still Jenny Agutter brings the aura of a delightful smile.)
If you are interested in huge train bridges, look up the Lethbridge Viaduct. Built in the early 1900's, it's the largest and longest bridge of its type!

That's genius! I'm copying that.
There is a mod called Lower Grass that removes the in between track grass
Of course, the most useful bit of Feverlore concerns the revelation of the nom de la strip-teaseuse "Senseless Plateaus". All it needs is a Hump Yard.
The painting is deeply appreciated, its a small detail that with the default track can make it shine the little further needed bit
I just wanted to say: I love the thumbnail!

I acknowledge your request. Consider it a firm "maybe".

@ thank you!

A suggestion for that Art Deco pillar Colonel: lower it so the cross bar sits under the girder of the bridge rather than clipping through.
Didn't notice the clipping. Thanks, I'll look.

Johnny French looks good but costs 2x the price at 1M per year upkeep though. Also Nice bridge mod
"Mos Eisley spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious." Need i say more?

Definitely felt a little giddy :)

11:12 if the youtube career ever goes awry, I'm sure Senseless Plateaux can make a decent living. Bit niche but I'm sure you'd find a market
Sounds like a new town/city name.
Senseless Plateaux should play brutalball
Colonel Senseless Plateaux Does Dallas (or Castle Rock anyway)...
That thumbnail is a one to die for!
Of a certain age, certainly. But not necessarily of a certain nationality.
Ohhh, adore the Derail Valley reference 😆❤
Thats a great Screenshot.
Riding train is the reason I get out of bed :)
I always use commuter lines but usually wait until the towns are larger.

Have you seen the new update for Derail Valley?
I have.
So now the series should be called....devolution?
Hey Colonel, have you seen Derail Valley has had a huge new patch? Any possibility it could make an appearance?
I have seen it. It's unlikely to make an appearance, but never say never.
@@colonelfailure Sweet, thanks for the reply.
dont forget the supports!!
Senseless Plateaus hahaha
Is Mos Eisley getting a bus service of some sort to get people to the train station?
Cable car up the cliff!
Can you show the little taxis riding in the city with the airport? With the 6(?) people capacity there is probably a lot of traffic.
This will seem like nitpicking but shouldn’t CAST Commuter have Lightrail in there being a tram route?
✌🏻
I think your train won't make it back to it's home station with that branch junction after you signalled it, there's no turnout?
Sir your terraforming gives me anxiety
Grit teeth, embrace the madness.
You should drop this bst and get back to Soviet resources game.
People telling him what to do is THE reason he's not doing Soviet Ressources ever again.
The Zephir might make money if you manage to make a route that goes downhill both ways 🥸
