The best deal I found was chronicles draft picks for $5 fat pack/$9 hanger at meijer. Not a great set but really good price. The absolute best basketball product I have found was 2021 illusions fat packs @ $7 per pack.
I have never EVER seen a Walmart stocked that well with sports cards. That's honestly like...several orders of magnitude better than anything I've seen at any my local stores. I hope you know how lucky you are. And the last time I went to Target, literally the only thing at ALL that they had that wasnt hockey or soccer was 1 single blaster of Topps Chrome.

Just got back into collecting a couple months ago. I finally found some NBA Prizm blasters in the wild last weekend. I bought 4 of them and the only card that was somewhat ok was a Franz Wagner Emergent card. Learned a great lesson this weekend. DO NOT buy prizm blasters. A massive waste of money. Will be even funnier when next years product is $50 a blaster and still packed with garbage cards.
Do you know Panini outsources their delivery to third party companies? I called and complained about this very issue… the delivery people do not work for panini that’s why there’s so much fraud

Prestige Hangers and Blasters are always good. I love Heritage but unless you get hobby you’re not really pulling anything. The ProSet/Leaf Draft is over priced trash. I just sold that Brady Hero’s. It paid for the value pack. Surprise pull from one. Great video. Thanks for sharing 👊✌️

Heritage now shows you the variations next to the cards number on the back. It'll say Image, French, logo, etc. for each SP variation from the set. All but the high number SPs, which are usually backwards.
My local target just started restocking everything! I was waiting forever for new product so a few weeks ago I bought the last retail pack if nba hoops for $2.99 or $3.99 (cant remember) that I remember sitting there for months and I pulled an even mobley rookie auto #6/10 no joke.you never know with retail.
Your such the fortunate one !! In Portland Oregon they only have very little baseball and a boat load of Pokémon and Hockey that just sit there. From 1981 thru 2020 I could always just go to the stores including grocery stores and buy all I could afford. The people that work at Walmart here buy them before they go on the selves then put them on offer up the next day to double their money. Anyway great break as always.!!
Being from Toronto, seeing those Upper Deck Series 1/2 and SPA hockey cards just hanging out in a Walmart blows my mind, the card aisles here always look like the toilet paper aisles when COVID started...
Fun Fact: Prestige is one of the toughest base/vet/rookies complete sets to collect as they purposely make 10 of the base or rookie cards SSSSSSSSP every year! haha 2nd fun fact: Superfractor topps odds are lower than some state lottos!
Best pull from retail - Christmas 2011 ONE 2011 Topps Update pack as a stocking stuffer Ended up getting a Mike Trout which graded as a PSA 10. Can’t believe I kept the card in such good condition since I was a kid at the time

I pulled a Shane McClanahan 1/1 black finite from Select 2020 baseball blaster last year. I’m a Rays fan so planned to keep it but a super collector of him made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. Glad it went to a person that has a big collection of McClanahan cards.
My best retail pulls ever was a shohei ohtani 1/1 out of diamond kings and it was a rc and a Schwarber from the same box. Also pulled a wander 1st bowman /50 gold sold that from $950
I’ve found prestige at target and Walmart but not topps chrome or prizm basketball but both stores are good for retail. You could also try Meijer and to a challenge with Walmart, target and Meijer.
I had some decent luck ripping Prestige blasters from target. Best card out of those boxes was an Aiden Hutchinson on card auto. Best retail pull ever was a Shane Bieber superfractor auto from Topps Chrome

I had the best hits out of Select UFC from Target, but Donruss UFC I always hit better from Walmart. I wish that I could find UFC retail in the stores anymore... once in a while you can grab Chronicles but you can't really hit anything good from it so I stick to Select, Prizm or at the lowest Donruss
My best retail pull to date used to be a sage HIT rc auto of Joe Burrow I sold for around 200$ during the hype probably could have gotten more during the superbowl of last year. But now I consider the case hit holo heroes tom brady TB12-4 parallel that has been in my collection and will probably stay but is around 300$ to 400$ dollars value.

We busted the restock lady at Walmart in the back of the store filling storage bins with Optic and Select football for a customer that was paying her.

Prestige is the best ROI product panini sells. Retail only, & you can hit some nice autos with the mega boxes. By far, the best product they make.

Those series 2 UD hockey was the play, especially the ones with the security tags or the tins.
