Learning escalation comes from experience. I had a chick grab the back of my neck during a hug, it was in a store infront of customers. So escalation was not happening. Texted her the next day, and crickets. I learned when it comes to females, they lose interest faster than they gain it for you. And Lord knows, a pretty girls options are unlimited.
Maybe there was never interest in the first place.

She’s been flirting with me, I’m socially awkward sometimes but I like her honestly what should I do?
There’s been some tension between us the past 2 months. She’s a really outgoing/extrovert/golden retriever type and she starts convos with me and I try but I can really only do it when I’m drunk I’m just too introverted and still overcoming my social anxiety so I can’t start convos really, I can carry them with her tho and I show interest because I kinda am. She’s sweet and just got done with a bad relationship with some kid my age who’s completely different than me physically and mentally so I sometimes wonder if she’s just trying to get back but idk the signs she gives tell me something else. What should I do? Continue to just let her approach me and wait or what? I met her in the summer so we’re still new to each other but we actually fuck with each other. Our relationship is still in its infancy stage though like besides parties every weekend we don’t really see each other or talk but I’m boys with her brother. She’s sat on my lap in a car for 30 minutes and we chilled, she wrote me a note when she was really drunk with my name and a heart on it that same night (this is when it all started) am I overthinking or does she like me? After a football game it was senior night so my poster and fam were at the game and she texted me the next day saying she wanted to take a pic with them and my poster. My old wrestling poster was in an office and she found it n took a picture with it, lil shit like that. We’ve never had sex or kissed but you can feel the tension. I think my issue is I’m just too scared of scaring or making her uncomfortable and I’m also just not confident enough sometimes. Any advice? Any girls who’re extroverts and have gotten with an introvert how did the relationship grow? Took me a time to write this and I rarely do this so any help would be appreciated.

If you truly care about her, you need to man up and tell her. It will be super hard but it's 10 seconds of pain versus months of regret if you don't. Tell her you like her and ask her out for a lunch date. You need to tell her. No matter how scared or socially awkwars you are, you need to tell her. If she actually likes you she will accept your date. Make sure you have an exact place in mind to eat, the day and time too. She will want to see that you planned it out. Good luck
